ASSEB HSLC Routine 2026 – HSLC Exam 2026 Programme

The Assam Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has published the HSLC Exam Routine 2026. The HSLC Exam 2026 is going to be conduct from February 10th, 2026 in various exam centers of Assam. The HSLC Exam 2026 Time Table has been given below. The last written exam of ASSEB Class 10th Exam 2026 will be 27 February, 2026.

Please Note: Subjects marked with an asterisk (*) will have a time allowance of 2 hours. For the morning shift, the exam will take place from 9 AM to 11 AM, while for the evening shift, it will be scheduled from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

Important Points for ASSEB HSLC/AHM Exam 2026

• Extra Time: Five minutes extra time is allowed from 8:55 AM to 9:00 AM in the Morning shift and 1:25 PM to 1:30 PM in the Afternoon shift to read the Question Paper only. The Officer-in-Charge will arrange distribution of Question Papers accordingly.
• Modern Indian Languages (MIL): Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, Manipuri, Hmar, Nepali, Mizo, Khasi, Garo, Kabri & Urdu.
• Elective Languages (Time 3 hours) and In Lieu Languages (Time 2 hours): There will be common Question paper with Group A and Group B for each Language viz. Assamese(E), Bengali(E), Hindi(E), Bodo(E), Manipuri(E) and Santhali(E) Candidates offering Elective subject will have to appear in both the Groups A and B while In Lieu Language the candidates will have to appear in Group A only, which will be treated as Assamese (IL), Bengali (IL), Hindi(IL), Bodo(IL), Manipuri (IL) and Santhali (IL) respectively.
