Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, Guwahati has published three recruitment notification regarding recruitment of 03 Project Research Scientist (Medical), Project Technical Support-II ( Lab Investigator) and Data Entry operator post under the Indian Council Of Medical Research (ICMR), Govt. of India funded project titled “Four-month Moxifloxacian containing Shorter Regimen versus 6 months Standard Regimen for Treatment of Drug sensitive TB disease in children aged 1 year to 18 years- open labeled Randomized controlled Trial (4Mkids study”) under the principal Investigator Dr. Dulal Kalita, Department of Pediatrics, GMCH, Guwahati. Details of GMCH Recruitment 2026
1. Project Research Scientist(Medical)
No of post: 01 Post
Remuneration: Rs. 67000/-+ 20% HRA, as admissible
Required Eligibility: MBBS registered with NMC/state medical council.
Desirable: MD/DNB/DCH (pediatrics) Experience of working in public health projects Experience of bio statistical application in the field of medical statistics and/or epidemiology good publication record Excellent writing and verbal skills for communication Fluency or working level in English, Hindi and Assamese candidates must be willing to travel extensively in rural/ urban parts of Assam.
2. Project Technical Support Staff – II (Lab Investigator)
No of post: 01 Post
Remuneration: Rs. 20000/-+ 20% HRA, as admissible
Required Eligibility: DMLT with experience in working in Microbiology (Bacteriology) laboratory.
Desirable: 1 year experience in Molecular laboratory and computer Knowledge.
3. Data Entry Operator
No of post: 01 Post
Remuneration: Rs. 29,200/- per month.
Required Eligibility: Graduate in any stream from a recognized Board University..
Desirable: Bachelors degree in computer science from a recognized university or institution. 3 to 4 years experience in MS (Excel, Word, Power point Presentation) office, Google sheet creation etc.
