IIT Guwahati Recruitment Details:
1. Junior Engineer(Trainee)
No. of post: 10 Posts
Discipline wise Vacancies:
- Civil Engineering: 07 Nos.;
- Electrical Engineering: 02 Nos.;
- Mechanical Engineering: 01 No.
Salary: Consolidated stipend of Rs. 25,000 (Rupees twenty-five thousand only) per month will be paid during the contract period. Free hostel accommodation may be provided, subject to availability.
Educational Qualification:
- Three-year Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.
- Minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant field experience.
- Candidates possessing higher qualifications such as B.E./B. Tech are not eligible.
Required Experience (Discipline-wise):
- Junior Engineer (Trainee) – Civil Engineering: Field experience in Building maintenance, Preparation of technical estimates, Tender preparation, Concrete works and Other site-related civil engineering activities.
- Junior Engineer (Trainee) – Electrical Engineering: Experience in HT/LT substation maintenance, DG (Diesel Generator) maintenance.
- Junior Engineer (Trainee) – Mechanical Engineering: Experience in the maintenance of air conditioning systems.
Age: The maximum age limit of the candidate should be 28 years on the last date of receipt of the application.
