1. Gaon Pradhan

Revenue Circle wise Vacancies:
- Tezpur Revenue Circle: 12 Nos.
- Dhekiajuli Revenue Circle: 7 Nos.
- Thelamora Revenue Circle: 6 Nos.
- Chariduar Revenue Circle: 10 Nos.
- Naduar Revenue Circle: 8 Nos.
Salary: Rs. 14,000 (Rupees Fourteen thousand) only- per month.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should be minimum 10th passed from Board/Institution recognised by the State/Central Government.
Age: Candidate must not be less than 30 years as on 1st January, 2026.
Other Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate should be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of the area in respect of which he/she seeks appointment.
- Candidate should be physically fit and have sound mind.
- Candidate should not have been declared as an insolvent or defaulter in payment of Govt. dues (furnish Bakijai Clearance Certificate).
- Candidate should not be a government employee.
- Candidate should not be a member of any political party.
- Candidate should have land or immovable property in his/her name in the area (village) in which he/she intends to be appointed as Gaon Pradhan.
- Preference shall be given to the family members of Gaonpradhan and views of the Mouzadar shall be taken into consideration.
- Candidate should be a person of high status and command and have a respectable position in the society.
- Candidate should not have more than 2 (two) living children from a single or multiple partners (in cognizance to Government of Assam Notification dated 19th July, 2019 vide No. RLR.187/2007/Pt/24).
- Candidate should furnish a self-affidavit that the applicant does not have more than two living children from a single/multiple partners.
How to Apply for Sonitpur District Recruitment 2026
Candidates must submit their applications in the format given with advertisement. The duly filled application form, along with all required documents, must be submitted to the in District Commissioner’s Office, Registrar, Kannogo Branch, Sonitpur District.
Documents Required Candidates must attach self-attested copies of the following documents along with the application form:

- Mouzadar certificate confirming that the applicant belongs to the village where he/she is applying for the post of Gaon Pradhan.
- Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC).
- Self-declaration stating that he/she does not belong to any political party and not a government employee.
- Bakijai clearance certificate.
- Cast certificate (if any).
