KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA NARANGI has published a recruitment notification regarding recruitment for various contractual posts. Interview for the post of PGT’s (English, Hindi, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Commerce, Geography, Economics, History & Political Science), TGT’s (English, Hindi, Maths, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, German & Assamese), PRT’s & Computer Instructor, Sports, Yoga Instructor, Art & Craft Instructor, Counselor & Nurse will be held at KV Narangi, Kamrup.

Post Details of KV Narangi Recruitment 2022
1. PRT’s
Required Qualification:
- Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent
- Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
- Competence to teach through Hindi & English media
2. TGT’s(Hindi / Maths/ S.St./ English/ Science/Sanskrit)
Required Qualification:
- Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate ; OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under :
- For TGT (‘Sanskrit): Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.
- For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
- For TGT (English) : English as a subject in all the three years.
- For TGT (S.St) Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography.
- For TGT (Maths) – Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
- For TGT (Science)- Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.
- Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose
3. PGT’s (Hindi/English/Maths/Physics/Chemistry/Economics/Commerce/Biology/Political Science)
Required Qualification:
Essential:
- Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject Or Master Degree from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:
- PGT (English)- English
- PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
- PGT (Maths) Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics
- PGT (Physics)–Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics.
- PGT (Chemistry) Chemistry/ Bio. Chem.
- PGT (Biology) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/Bio Technology/Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
- PGT (History) – History
- PGT Geography-Geography
- PGT (Commerce) – Master’s Degree in Commerce. However, holder of Degrees of M.Com in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible.
- PGT (Economics) – Economics/ Applied Economics/Business Economics.
- PGT (Pol Sci) – Master’s Degree in Political Sci.
- B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university
4. Art & Craft Coach
Required Qualification: Degree in Art & Craft from recognized University/Institution.
5. Nurse
Required Qualification:
Essential: B.Sc. in nursing/ Diploma in nursing.
6. Counselor
Required Qualification:
B.A./B.S.c(Psychology) with certificate of Diploma in counseling.
Desirable: Minimum of One year experience in providing career / Educational counseling to students at schools, Working knowledge and experience in placement bureaus, Registration with rehabilitation council of India as Vocational Counselor
7. Coaches in Games & Sports
Required Qualification: B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed
Desirable: Participation at national/state level with good track record.
8. DEO
Required Qualification:
- 10+2 With 60% Marks with good Typing Speed or 10 Years Experience in Govt. Sector with good Typing Speed.
9. Computer Instructor for Primary & Secondary
Required Qualification:
- M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech. in Comp. Sc. Or B.C.A/M.C.A. or M.Sc. ( IT) OR
- B.Sc. / M.Sc / M.A with PGDCA or DOEACC’O’ OR ‘A’ Level.
10. Dance Teacher
Required Qualification:
- Diploma in Dance/B.P.A/BA(Dance)
Desirable: Experience of choreography in Schools.
Age: 18 years to 65 years (As per KVS Norms)
How to Apply For KV Narangi Recruitment 2022
- Candidates having requisite qualification, may report to the Vidyalaya on 26.02.2022 at 08:30 am for registration.
- The application form duly filled along with all attested supporting documents should be submitted at the time of registration (SEPARATE APPLICATION FORM SHOULD BE FILLED UP IF APPLYING FOR MORE THAN ONE POST.)
- The candidate should bring Original Marks Sheets / Certificates at the time of interview for verification.
- No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.

- Written test will be conducted for all the posts where the no. of candidate is more than 15.
