Interview for the post of PGT’s (Hindi, Economics, and Political Science), TGT’s (Maths & Science), PRT’s & Computer Instructor, Sports, Yoga Instructor, Art & Craft Instructor, Assamese Language Teacher, Counselor & Nurse will be held at KV Central University, Tezpur.

Post Details of KV Tezpur University Recruitment 2022
1. PRT’s
Required Qualification:
Essential:
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education(by whatever name known) OR
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) OR
- Senior Secondary(or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education(Special Education) OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.)
- Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (for Classes I to V) conducted by CBSE.
- Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English media.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
2. TGT’s(All Subjects)
Required Qualification:
Essential:
- Four year’s Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50 % marks in aggregate; OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The elective subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects is as under:
- For TGT (Maths): Maths as a subject in all the three years with any two of the following subjects:
- Physics,
- Chemistry,
- Electronics,
- Computer Science and
- Statistics.
- For TGT (Science): Botany/ Zoology/ Chemistry as a subject in all the three years.
- For TGT (Maths): Maths as a subject in all the three years with any two of the following subjects:
- Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
- Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium.
- B. Ed. Or equivalent degree from recognized University.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Relaxation of B. Ed qualification: In case of TGT, B Sc with 60% marks and BA with 55% marks may be considered for appointment on part-time contractual basis if suitable candidates with B.Ed are not available.
Relaxation in CTET – In absence of suitable CTET qualified candidate, candidate without CTET qualification may be considered if otherwise eligible as per KVS recruitment rules.
3. PGT’s (All Subjects)
Required Qualification:
Essential:
- Two years‟ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject. OR Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:
- PGT (Hindi) – Post Graduation in Hindi.
- PGT (Economics) – Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics.
- PGT (Political Science) – Political Science
- B. Ed. Or equivalent degree from recognized University.
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
Relaxation of B. Ed qualification: Post Graduate with 60% marks in Science subjects and 55% in Humanities subjects may be considered for the posts of PGTs, if suitable candidates with B.Ed are not available.
4. Art & Craft Coach
Required Qualification:
Essential:
- Five Year’s recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting/ Sculpture/ Graphic Art. OR Equivalent recognized Degree.
- Competence to teach through English/ Hindi media.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
5. Nurse
Required Qualification:
Essential: B.Sc. in nursing/ Diploma in nursing.
6. Counselor
Required Qualification:
Essential: B.A. / B. Sc. (Psychology) with Certificate of Diploma in Counseling.
Desirable:
- Minimum of one year Experience in providing career Education counseling to students at school. OR
- Working knowledge and experience in Placement Bureaus. OR
- Registration with rehabilitation council of India as vocational counselor
7. Yoga Instructor
Required Qualification:
Essential: Graduation in any subject or equivalent from a recognized university with one year training in Yoga from a recognized institution. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
8. Computer Instructor
Required Qualification:
- B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science)/BCA/MCA/M.Sc.(Computer Science)/M.Sc.(Electronics with Computer Science component)/M.Sc.(IT)/B.Sc.(Computer Science). OR
- Bachelor’s / Master degree in any Science subject / Mathematics from recognized university with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer application from government recognized University/Institute. OR
- Post Graduate Degree in any subject with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer application from recognized University./’O’ level from DOEACC OR Post Graduate degree in any subject with minimum ‘A’ Level from DOEACC Proficiency in teaching in
9. Assamese Language Teacher
Required Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the Assamese/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. B. Ed. Or equivalent degree from recognized University.
Relaxation of B. Ed qualification: In case suitable candidate with B.Ed is not available, candidate without B.Ed. can be considered.
