Kendriya Vidyalaya Borjhar has released a job notification regarding recruitment for PGT, TGT, PRT, Counsellor, Coaches, Doctor, Nurse, Instructor etc. posts. Eligible and willing candidates may attend WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on 15th February 2022 at 8:00 am in the Vidyalaya for engaging the following post(s) purely on Part Time Contractual basis as per KVS norms. Empaneled candidates will be invited for their services as & when vacancies are created) for the academic session 2022-23.

1. PGT

Name of Subjects:

• English
• Hindi
• Maths
• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology
• History
• Geography

• Political Science

Required Qualification:

Essential:

Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject;

Or

Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subject as per the Post:

• PGT (English)- English
• PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
• PGT (Maths) Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics
• PGT (Physics)–Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics.
• PGT (Chemistry) Chemistry/ Bio. Chem.
• PGT (Biology) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/Bio Technology/Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
• PGT (History) – History
• PGT Geography-Geography
• PGT (Commerce) – Master’s Degree in Commerce. However, holder of Degrees of M.Com in Applied/Business, Economics shall not be eligible.
• PGT (Economics) – Economics/ Applied Economics/Business Economics.
• PGT (Political Science) – Master’s Degree in Political Science

B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be preferred if suitable otherwise. Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English medium.

Desirable : Knowledge of computer applications.

2. PGT

Name of Subjects: Computer Science

Required Qualification:

At-least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following:

• B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognized by the Govt. of India. OR
• B.E or B. Tech. (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized University. OR
• M.Sc (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University. OR
• B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized University. OR
• Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from recognized University. OR
• ‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject. OR
• ‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation.

Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.

 

3. TGT

Name of Subjects:

• Science
• English
• S.ST
• Maths
• Sanskrit
• Hindi

Required Qualification:

Essential:

Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate ; OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under according to posts:

• For TGT (Sanskrit): Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.
• For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
• For TGT (English): English as a subject in all the three years.
• For TGT (S.St) Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography.
• For TGT (Maths) – Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
• For TGT (Science)- Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.

Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose will be preferred if suitable otherwise. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be preferred if suitable otherwise. Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English medium.

Desirable : Knowledge of computer applications.

4. TGT

Name of Subjects: Art Education

Required Qualification:

Essential:

• Five Years’ recognized Diploma in drawing and Painting/ Sculpture/ Graphic Art from recognized University/ Institution. OR Equivalent recognized Degree from recognized University / Institution.
• Working knowledge of Hindi & English. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be preferred if suitable otherwise.

Desirable : Knowledge of computer applications.

 

5. Assamese Language & German Language Teacher

Required Qualification:

Essential:

• For Assamese– Assamese as a Major subject in Graduation or Graduation who have studied Assamese in all the three years of Graduation. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be preferred if suitable otherwise.
• For German– Graduation in German language or Graduate from any discipline and B.2.2 from Goethe Institute. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be preferred if suitable otherwise.

Desirable :

• Working knowledge of Hindi & English
• Knowledge of computer applications

6. PRT

Required Qualification:

Essential:

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and 2 years diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known.) Or
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and 4 years bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed.) Or
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % mark and 2 years diploma in education (special education) Or
• Graduation with at least 50 % marks and bachelor of education(B.Ed.)
• Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose will be preferred if suitable otherwise. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be preferred if suitable otherwise.
• Competence to teach through Hindi & English media.

Desirable :

• Working knowledge of Hindi & English

 

7. Counsellor

Required Qualification:

• M.A /M.Sc in Psychology from a recognized college or university + Regular one year post graduate diploma in guidance and counseling. Or
• M.A./M.Sc./M.Com with B.Ed./M.Ed. qualification+ regular one year post graduate diploma in guidance and counseling. Desirable Minimum one year experience in providing career/ educational counseling to student at school or working knowledge and experience in placement bureaus or registration with rehabilitation council of India as vocational counselor

8. Computer Instructor

Required Qualification:

• B.Ed. B.Tech (Computer Science)/ BCA/ MCA/ M.Sc (Computer Science) M.Sc. (Electronics with Computer Science Component)/ M.Sc. (IT)/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) Or
• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in any Science subject/ Mathematics from recognized University with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from Govt recognized university/ institute. OR
• Post Graduate Degree in any subject with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from Govt. recognized University/ ‘O’ Level from DOEACC OR
• Post Graduate Degree in any subject with Minimum ‘A’ Level from DOEACC

 

9. Art & Craft

Required Qualification:

• Degree in Art & Craft from recognized university/Institution.

Desirable: Participation at national/ state level with good track record.

10. Coaches

Required Qualification:

• Graduation in any discipline with Diploma in the specific field in basketball or Chess (at least of one year duration)/B. P. Ed./D.P.Ed. Or
• Graduation/ Senior Secondary in any discipline with National Certificate holder in concerned field of sports.

 

11. Doctor

Required Qualification:

• MBBS and registered with MCI/State Medical Council.

 

12. Nurse

Required Qualification:

• B.Sc. Nursing /Diploma in nursing from recognized Institute

13. Dance Instructor

Required Qualification:

• Senior Secondary School or equivalent certificate with 50% marks and Degree or Diploma in Dance.

 

14. Yoga Instructor

Required Qualification:

• Graduate in any subject or equivalent from a recognized University and at least one year Degree/ Diploma in Yoga from a recognized Institute.

 

Remuneration: (*As per KVS norms)

• PGT @ Rs. 32500/- p.m.* consolidated
• TGT @ Rs. 31250/- p.m.* consolidated
• Computer Instructor (Senior Section) /German/Counselor @ Rs. 31250/- p.m.* consolidated
• PRT/Yoga/Coaches @ Rs. 26250/- p.m.* consolidated
• Computer Instructor (Primary Section) @ Rs. 26250/- p.m.* consolidated
• Assamese Language Teacher:-Rs. 26250/- p.m.* consolidated
• Doctor:- @ Rs. 1000/- per day* for two hours.
• Nurse:- @ Rs. 750/- per day*.
