Directorate of Historical and Antiquarian Studies, Assam has published a recruitment notification regarding recruitment of 12 Supervisor and Field Investigator Posts for purely temporary assignments related to Assam Manuscripts Mission, tentatively for 2 months on contractual basis. Details of DHAS Recruitment
1. Supervisor
No of Post: 02 Posts
Salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in field research, heritage documentation, or cultural project coordination. (Master’s degree will be preferred). – Candidates are required from Nalbari, Golaghat, Jorhat and Sivasagar district.
Age Limit: 35 – 60 years
2. Field Investigator
No of Post: 10 Posts
Salary: Rs. 20,000/- per month
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any Discipline.
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with prior fieldwork experience in cultural documentation or community based research, manuscript related work. Competency in the Tai language& Old Assamese Language – Willingness to travel extensively across rural and remote areas. -Candidates are required from Dibrugarh, Golaghat, Jorhat, Sivasagar and Tinisukia district.
Age Limit: Maximum 21 years.
