Syllabus For Assam Direct Recruitment – The State Level Recruitment Commission, Assam has published an addendum notice regarding the date of the Direct Recruitment Grade IV Exam. The candidates who have successfully applied for the Grade 4 posts may appear for the written exam. As per the notification the Grade IV exam will be conducted on 21st August 2022 in Morning and Afternoon Sessions. The candidate who have applied under Read upto Class VIII category have to appear the exam on Morning Session(10 AM to 12 Noon) and the candidates who have applied under HSLC(Class Ten) or equivalent passed category need to appear the exam in Afternoon Session(2 PM to 4 PM).  For more job and educational notification please check Assam Job Alert Regularly.

Details of Assam Direct Recruitment Grade IV Exam Date

Name of the Post: Class-IV

No of Vacancies: 13,300

Scale of Pay: Pay Bands and Grade Pay as per ROP, 2017 along-with other allowances as admissible

Educational Qualification

• Read up to Class-VIII (9,000 Posts)
• HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed (4,300 Posts)

Please Note: The Maximum qualification should be HSSLC (Class-12) or HSSLC (Class-12) or equivalent examination Passed and those who have educational qualification higher than this maximum eligibility educational qualification on the date of application shall not be eligible to apply for any of the posts or category of posts.

Age: The applicant shall not be less than 18 years or more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2022. The upper age limit is relaxable only as stipulated below:

• 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
• 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
• 2 years for Ex-Servicemen.
• 10 years for Persons with Disabilities candidates.

The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the School/Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognised Board/ Council/ schools/ or other Government document, as applicable and notified.

Details Syllabus of Assam Direct Recruitment For Grade IV Posts

The syllabus of the examination for recruitment to the Class-IV Posts shall be in consonance with the prescribed SCERT syllabus of Class VIII Examination and Class X (HSLC examination or equivalent examination) syllabus for read upto Class VIII category and HSLC(Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed category respectively.

• There will be a total of 135 multiple choice questions, carrying 1 (one mark) each, to be attempted in 120 minutes.
• There shall be no negative marking.
• The selection of candidates for inviting them for interview / skill test will be in the ratio of 1:2.
• Candidates scoring identical marks in the written examination will be invited for appearing in the interview/skill test, irrespective of ratio mentioned above.
• The detailed Sops for conduct of written examination for maintaining order and discipline shall be issued separately by SEBA.
