Assam Direct Recruitment Syllabus

In this article we are going to discuss about the syllabus of Assam Direct Recruitment Grade III Posts.

Assam Direct Recruitment Syllabus – The State Level Recruitment Commission(SLRC) has published a recruitment notification regarding recruitment of 13,141 Grade III Posts. The SLRC has also published a notification for total 26441 Grade 3 and Grade 4 Posts. The written exams for the both Grade III and Grade IV Posts under Assam Direct Recruitment is going to be held in the month of August, 2022. The Admit cards for Grade III Posts also be available in the month of August, 2022. The candidates who have successfully applied for the Posts under Assam Direct Recruitment will be able to download the admit card soon to attend the written exam.

Details of Assam Direct Recruitment Syllabus and Exam Date for Grade III Posts

Number of Questions: 100

Marks for Each Question:

• 1.75 marks against each question for Bachelor’s Degree Category 
• 1.5 marks against each question for HSSLC or equivalent Category

Total marks: 

• For Bachelor’s Degree Category: 175 
• For HSSLC or equivalent Category: 150

Negative Marking: There shall be no negative marking.

Date of Grade III Exam: 28.08.2022

• HSSLC or equivalent Category Exam Time: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Bachelor’s Degree Category Exam Time: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

• Category I (Accountant/ Cashier/ Jr. Asstt./LDA/Stenographer etc. Detailed list shall be available alongwith the application form) (8331 Vacancies)
• Category II (Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, Section Asstt. Soil Conservation Field Worker Jr., Agriculture Extension Assistant etc. Detailed list shall be available along with the application form) (3690 Vacancies)
• Category III (Driver) (1120 Vacancies)

Minimum Educational Qualification

• For Category I
  • Bachelor’s degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6 (six) months duration from a recognized Institute.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
• For Category II
  • HSSLC or equivalent (for post like Laboratory Assistant, Section Assistant and Photography Assistant, candidates with HSSLC or equivalent with Science stream only can apply)
• For Category III
  • HSLC or equivalent

Details Syllabus of Assam Direct Recruitment For Grade III Posts

The State Level Recruitment Commission(SLRC) has published separate category wise syllabus for Grade 3 posts under Assam Direct Recruitment. Each category syllabus contains 6 subject/topics from where the questions will be asked for Grade III written exam. The subject wise syllabus is given below. 

• There will be a total of 100 multiple choice questions, carrying 1.75 marks each for the examination for posts with minimum required qualification of Bachelor Degree and Bachelor Degree with Computer certificate/diploma.
• There will be 100 multiple choice questions, carrying 1.5 marks each for the posts with minimum required qualification of HSSLC or equivalent.
• There shall be no negative marking.
• The selection of candidates for inviting them for computer proficiency test/ skill test/interview will be in the ratio of 1:2. Candidates scoring identical marks in the written examination will be invited for appearing in the proficiency test/skill test/interview, irrespective of the ratio mentioned.
• The candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for computer proficiency test/skill test/interview.
