Syllabus of Assam Direct Recruitment For Grade III Posts
The State Level Recruitment Commission(SLRC) has published separate category wise syllabus for Grade 3 posts under Assam Direct Recruitment. Each category syllabus contains 6 subject/topics from where the questions will be asked for Grade III written exam. The subject wise syllabus is given below.
- There will be a total of 100 multiple choice questions, carrying 1.75 marks each for the examination for posts with minimum required qualification of Bachelor Degree and Bachelor Degree with Computer certificate/diploma.
- There will be 100 multiple choice questions, carrying 1.5 marks each for the posts with minimum required qualification of HSSLC or equivalent.
- There shall be no negative marking.
- The selection of candidates for inviting them for computer proficiency test/ skill test/interview will be in the ratio of 1:2. Candidates scoring identical marks in the written examination will be invited for appearing in the proficiency test/skill test/interview, irrespective of the ratio mentioned.

Syllabus of Assam Direct Recruitment For Grade IV Posts
The syllabus of the examination for recruitment to the Class-IV Posts shall be in consonance with the prescribed SCERT syllabus of Class VIII Examination and Class X (HSLC examination or equivalent examination) syllabus for read upto Class VIII category and HSLC(Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed category respectively.
- There will be a total of 135 multiple choice questions, carrying 1 (one mark) each, to be attempted in 120 minutes.
