CENTRAL SELECTION BOARD BTC KOKRAJHAR RECRUITMENT 2019 OF FORESTER AND FOREST GUARD [TOTAL 92 POSTS]

The Central Selection Board (CSB), Bodoland Territorial Council, Kokrajhar invites application from the eligible candidates citizen of India for filling up of the following SIU approved sanction vacant posts of Grade-III (Non-Gazetted) under the Forest Department, BTC in the Pay Band and Grade Pay plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules of Govt. of Assam issued from time to time. The Educational Qualification and other eligibility criteria for the posts are as given below (advt no No.CS13/BTC-95/2019/7: ).

a. Name of post: Forester-I

Number of vacancy: 22 nos.

Pay scale: P.B-2 14000/- 49000/-+ GP 6200/-

Educational Qualification and other eligibility criteria:

i.Education Qualification: Minimum Bachelors Degree in any discipline
from a recognized University or equivalent.
ii.Age : Age limit of 18 to 25 years on 31st January. 2019. Relaxation of age for SC/ST is 5 years & OBC is 3 years as per Govt. rules.
iii.Physical Requirements:Height-163 cm for General and 153 cm for
ST(P)/ST(H). Chest Normal-79cm round. Expandix1-84-cm round.

b. Name of post: Forest Guard

Number of vacancy: 70 nos.

Pay scale: P.B-2 140001- 49000/-+GP 5600/-

Educational Qualification and other eligibility criteria:

i.Education Qualification: Minimum HS (10+2) or equivalent.
ii.Age : Age limit of I8 to 25 years on 31st January. 2019. Relaxation of age for SC/ST is 5 year &. OBC is .3 years as per Govt. rules.
iii.Physical Requirements:Height-I63 cm for General and 153 ‘cm for
STa))/ST(H). Chest Normal-79cm round. Expanded-84cm round.

The mode of selection/examination for the post of Forester-I and Forest Guard as mentioned above will be as follows.
Mode of Examination:

• Physical Fitness Test comprising 26 kms walking to be covered within ‘4 hours followed by a medical examination will also be conducted for Forester-I and Forest Guard.
• Candidates qualified in the Physical Fitness Test for the post of Forester-I and Forest Guard shall be called for written test. The Written Test will be 3 Hours on General Knowledge. General Mathematics and General English. (C) Viva-Voce Test.

General Instructions:

• How to apply: The eligible candidates willing to apply for the post as mentioned above may apply by filling up the application form as per ANNEXURE-I of this advertisement.
• Reservation: The reservation will be as per Sixth Scheduled area norms.
• Candidates only from BTC area need to apply.
• Document: The photo copies of all educational certificates fromliSLC onwards alongwith other professional/experience, if any must be furnished. The candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC/MOBC must furnish photo copy of Caste Certificate issued from the competent authority to proof as the permanent residence of BTC area And the candidates other than ST/SC/OBC/ MOBC category must furnish certificate from the Municipal Board/Town Committee for urban area and Village! Council Development Committee (VCDC) certificate for rural area duly countersigned by the Revenue Circle/Block Development Officer concerned to proof of the permanent residence of .BTC area. The candidate must sign all the photo copies of documents hirnself/herself as certified to be true copy.
• Fee: All the eligible candidates applying for the post as mentioned above need to deposit’a Treasury Challan to be paid at Kokrajhar Treasury Office or [PO for an amount of Rs.150/-(Rupees one hundred fifty) only for General/OBC/MOBC candidates and Rs.100/-(Rupees one hundred) only for SC/ST candidates. In case of Treasury Challan the challan must be paid in favour of the Principal Secretary, BTC. Koluajhar payable at Kokrajhar Treasury Office only under the Head of Account-8443 Civil Deposit. Personal Deposit. BTC. The challan paid at Kokrajhar Treasury Office only will be accepted. And in case of IPO must be paid in favour of the Member Secretary, CSB, Kokrajhar payable at Kokrajhar Head Post Office.
• Photograph: The candidates must famish 2(two) copies of recent identical passport size photographs signed across by thecandidate alongwith the application.
• Examination/interview: The eligible candidates applying for the above mentioned post will have. to appear for a Written Examination/Interview at their own cost as when Called for and no 1’A/ DA will be admissible for the purpose.
