Additional List to Draft NRC under Clause 5 of the Schedule of The Citizenship Rules, 2003
Latest news update on NRC ASSAM 2019. An Additional Exclusion List to Draft NRC will be published on 26th June, 2019 @ 10 am containing ONLY the names of those persons who figured in the Complete Draft NRC published on 30th July, 2018 but are subsequently found ineligible for inclusion on account of being:
1. Ineligible found during verification carried out under Clause 4(3) of the Schedule due to any reason including DV (Doubtful Voter) or DF (Declared Foreigner) or PFT (persons with cases Pending at Foreigners Tribunals) or their descendants, as applicable, discovered after publication of Draft NRC.
2. Ineligible found during hearings held for disposal of Claims & Objections.
The first part draft of NRC had published on 31st December 2017. At that time the commissioner of NRC had announced that the missing family members name will be published on the second part draft of NRC

How to check NRC ASSAM dditional Draft list on 26 June 2019
The Draft Additional List will be published for public view as follows:
- At Designated NRC Seva Kendra (NSK)
- At Office of the Deputy Commissioner/ SDO (Civil)/ Circle Officer where the Additional List for the village(s)/ward(s) will be available in a consolidated manner.
- For online viewing, the Complete Draft NRC viewing link in the NRC website www.nrcassam.nic.in to be clicked. Those persons whose Draft Status will change to exclusion by Additional List will be highlighted therein as “Excluded in Additional List”. Those persons already included in Draft NRC published on 30th July, 2018 and not getting affected by Additional List will continue to be displayed as before.

What if one finds his/her name enlisted in the Additional list L(exclusions) under Clause 5?
Those persons who will be excluded will be informed individually through Letters of Information (101) to be delivered at their residential addresses. Such persons will have the opportunity to file their Claims at the designated NSKs within 11th July, 2019. Their Claims will be disposed thereafter before publication of Final NRC on 31th July, 2019.
The entire process of NRC update is being carried out meticulously in a fair & objective manner and as per law under orders and close monitoring by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. All genuine Indian Citizens as per cut-off date 24th March, 1971 (midnight) will be included in the Final NRC
