SLET/SET Assam Result 2018 – This is notified that the following Roll Nos. appeared in SET, 2018 (held on 04-02-18) are declared pass in the Test and are Eligible for Lectureship in Colleges and Universities of N. E. States including Sikkim.
Criteria for Passing SLET/SET Assam Exam 2018

It has been decided by the UGC that 6% of the appearing candidates should be declared qualified for Eligibility for Assistant Professors.

- In order to be considered for eligibility for Assistant Professor, the candidates must have appeared in all the three papers and secured at least 40% aggregate marks in all the three papers taken together for General Category candidates and at least 35% aggregate marks in all the three papers taken together for all candidates belonging to reserved categories, viz SC, ST, OBC (belonging to Non Creamy Layer) and PWD
- The calculation is based on the ratio of number of candidates who secure minimum aggregate percentage of marks as prescribed in
- Above in each subject category-wise to the total number of candidates of that category over all subjects fulfilling
- Above multiplied by the total number of slots to be awarded to that category. The nearest whole number obtained as per this formula-provides the number of slots available in any particular subject category-wise
- By this method, if the number of slots obtained is less than orie, it is taken as one, i.e. a minimum of one slot is awarded wherever a fractions greater than one, the figure is rounded off to the nrearest whole number.
- The aggregate percentage of all the three papers corresponding to the number of slots derived as per the previous paragraph is taken as the cut-off qualifying percentage marks for a particular subject category-wise.

How to Apply for Re-check of SLET/SET Assam Result 2018
- The Candidates, having any claim with regard to declaration of Result of SET, after evaluation of OMR as per Answer-key uploaded in the web-site may send a written request to the Member Secretary, SLET Commission supporting his/her stand along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 5000/- in favour of the Member Secretary payable at SBI G.U Branch at Jalukbari within 15 days from the date of declaration of Result.
- The request so received will be placed before the Expert Committee (s) for re-evaluation of OMR. In case the evaluation is/are found to be incorrect, that will be rectified in the light of re-evaluation. The amount of Rs. 5000/- will be refunded in such cases, otherwise it will be forfeited.
