Details of DEE Assam Special Educator Recruitment
1. Special Educator
No of posts: 288 Posts
- Lower Primary(LP): 120 posts
- Upper Primary(UP): 108 posts
Scale of Pay: Scale of pay of Rs.14,000/- to 70,000/- including Grade Pay (under Pay Band-2) plus other allowances as admissible under rules.
- LP: Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs 7400/- and other allowances as admissible under rules.
- UP: Pay Band – 2 (PB-2) @ Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs 8700/- and other allowances as admissible under rules.
Educational Qualification:
Special Educator (LP School):
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- The candidate must have the ATET/CTET passed certificate for LP Schools.
Medium of instruction: Either the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the School wherein the candidate wishes to apply.
Age: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/MOBC and 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD), as on 1st August, 2025.

The interested and eligible applicants need to apply online through www.dee.assam.gov.in. Applicants need to upload the below mentioned documents. Documents uploaded as mentioned below should be coloured scanned and clear in PDF format while uploading and applying online and all documents should be self attested.
- Passport Size Photograph.
- HSLC Admit Card.
- HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate.
- Graduation Mark-sheet and Certificate.
- Any other Mark-sheet and Certificate of higher education.
- DElEd/ BEd Marksheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate.
- Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC).
- Document in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.
- Certificate and Mark sheet of ATET/CTET for UPS.
- Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.
- Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.
- Scanned Signature.
