Details of DSE Assam Graduate Teacher Recruitment

1. Assistant Teacher (LP) & Assistant Teacher (UP)

No of posts: 4500 Posts

• Lower Primary(LP): 2900 posts
• Upper Primary(UP): 1600 posts

Scale of Pay: Scale of pay of Rs.14,000/- to 70,000/- including Grade Pay (under Pay Band-2) plus other allowances as admissible under rules.

Educational Qualification: 

Assistant Teacher (LP):

• Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
• Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary School.

Assistant Teacher (UP):

• Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
• Graduate from the UGC-recognized University.
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education.
• Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

Science Teacher (UP):

• Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
• B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University.
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education.
• Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

Hindi Teacher (UP):

• Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
• Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from the UGC-recognized University.
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education.
• Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

TET Qualification: The candidates who have passed ATET/ CTET for Lower Primary / Upper Primary will be eligible for applying.

Medium of instruction: Either the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET and CTET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school, wherein the candidate wishes to apply

Age: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex Servicemen, 43 years for OBC/ MOBC and 45 years for SC/ ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD), as on 1st January, 2025.

The interested and eligible applicants need to apply online through www.dee.assam.gov.in. Applicants need to upload the below mentioned documents. Documents uploaded as mentioned below should be coloured scanned and clear in PDF format while uploading and applying online and all documents should be self attested.

• Passport Size Photograph.
• HSLC Admit Card.
• HSSLC Mark-sheet and Certificate.
• Graduation Mark-sheet and Certificate.
• Any other Mark-sheet and Certificate of higher education.
• DElEd/ BEd Marksheet (1st Year & 2nd Year) and Certificate.
• Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC).
• Document in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.
• Certificate and Mark sheet of ATET/CTET for UPS.
• Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.
• Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.
• Scanned Signature.

Please Note:

• Candidates should be cautious while submitting the online application as once the online application is submitted against a particular Roll Number of ATET/CTET for UPS examination, they will not be allowed to submit the online application for second time.
• After submitting the online application, the candidates will get a Unique Number against the submitted application and will keep the printout of the unique Number for all future references.
