Details of Soil Conservation Department JE Recruitment
1. Junior Engineer under Soil Conservation Department
No of posts: 18 Posts [UR: 08, OBC/MOBC: 06, TT & Adibasi: 01 SC: 02, STP: 01]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 8,700/- Pay Band – 2
Educational Qualification: The candidate must possess a 3 (three) year Diploma Course either in Civil Engineering or Agriculture Engineering from a Government recognized Institution.
No other diploma holder shall be eligible to apply. The Diploma Course must be a regular course. Diploma Course obtained through distance mode of Education, by whatever name called, will not be considered.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- As a domicile proof of the candidate, he/she must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be treated as proof of residency. (Upload necessary documents)
Age: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years of age as on 01-01-2025. The upper age limit is relatable. Relaxation of age is SC: 5 years, ST: 5 years, OBC/ MOBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years.
