APSC CCE Mains 2025 Online Apply

Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) had published a recruitment notification regarding recruitment of 289 posts under APSC Combined Competitive Examination 2024. APSC has conduct the Preliminary Examination of the Combined Competitive Examination 2024 for the 289 posts on 8th June 2025 and accordingly the result of APSC Prelims Exam has been published on 17th July, 2025. The candidates who have qualified the CCE prelims exam need to appear the CCE Mains exam to qualify for the Interview stage. Interested candidates may check the detail notification as given below. Prescribed online application forms for the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination, 2024 wlll be available in the Assam Public Service Commission’s website www.apsc.nic.in. The Online Applications can be filled up from 22nd July, 2025 12:00 Noon to 5th August, 2025 till 5:00 P.M., after which the link will be disabled. Last date for payment of prescribed fee is 7th August, 2025 till 5:00 P.M.

Required Eligibility:

Educational:

• The candidate must hold a Degree from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess such qualification as may be declared equivalent by the Government.
• Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification on the date of submission of their applications.
• A candidate should be able to speak Assamese or other official language or associate official languages of the State or any of the tribal languages of the State.
• A candidate should be registered in a District Employment Office of Assam.
• A candidate must be an original inhabitant of Assam.
• Candidates must possess the above prescribed qualification on the date of submission of their applications.
• Ex-Servicemen candidates would be required to submit the Ex-Servicemen Identity Card issued by the Zila Sainik Welfare Office and Discharge Book. Candidates failing to submit the said documents will not be considered under the Ex-Servicemen category.
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities should ascertain the post for which a particular category of disability is entitled for reservation as per the advertisement and should apply/opt for the preference accordingly at the time of submission of forms for Main Examination.

Age: The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age on 01.01.2022.

Relaxation of Age: 

• SC/STP/STH Candidates: upto 43 years.
• OBC/MOBC Candidates: upto 41 years.
• PWBD : By 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates.

APSC CCE 2025 Mains Exam Centers

The Combined Competitive (Main) Examination will be held in GUWAHATI Centre only.

APSC CC Main Exam Date 2025

As per the official notification of APSC CCE(Main) 2024 has published on 18th July, 2025 the APSC Main Exam 2024 will be conducted from 11th October, 2025 to 13th October, 2025. The candidates will get around 3 months time for their preparation for Main exam. The Exam Time table is given below:

APSC CC Mains Exam 2025 Pattern

On the basis of result of the Preliminary Examination, the number of candidates to be admitted to the written part of the Main Examination will be 11 to 12 times the number of vacancies notified for each category. The selection will be strictly on the basis of merit adhering to the norms of Vertical and Horizontal Reservation as per prescribed law in force.

The written examination shall consist of six papers of conventional essay type/objective type with limited words. Marks obtained in Interview for personality Test shall be counted for ranking. The written examination will consist of the following papers:
