Directorate of Education, Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Kokrajhar, Assam has published recruitment notifications regarding recruitment of Assistant Teachers, Science Teacher and Hindi Teacher for Lower Primary(LP) and Upper Primary(UP) Sections. The recruited teacher will be posted at the different Government Schools under the Directorate of BTC, Assam. Details of BTC LP UP Recruitment

1. Primary(LP) and Upper Primary(UP) Teacher

No of posts: Not Mentioned

Scale of Pay: Scale of pay of Rs.14,000/- to 70,000/- including Grade Pay plus other allowances as admissible under rules.

Educational Qualification: 

For the post of Assistant Teacher(LP):

• Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
• Assam TET, BTC TET or Central TET for Lower Primary School.

For the post of Assistant Teacher(UP):

• Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
• Graduate from the UGC-recognized University.
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education.
• Assam TET, BTC TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

For the post of Science Teacher(UP):

• Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
• B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University.
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education.
• Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

For the post of Hindi Teacher(UP):

• Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
• Graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects from the UGC-recognized University.
• 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education.
• Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.

ATET/ CTET/ BTC TET Qualification: The candidates who have passed ATET/ CTET/ BTC TET for Lower Primary / Upper Primary will be eligible for applying.

Medium of Instruction: Either the Language-I or the Language-II of both ATET, CTET and BTC TET candidates shall match the medium of instruction of the school, wherein the candidate wishes to apply.

Small Family Norms: No person having more than two living children on or after 01/01/2021 from a single or multiple partners shall be eligible for appointment as per the Govt. policy on Small Family Norms .

Age: A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category. For the Reserved categories  43 years for OBC/ MOBC and 45 years for SC/ ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD) as on 1st January, 2025.

• Document in support of Permanent Resident of Assam.
• Certificate and Mark sheet of ATET/CTET/ BTC TET for UPS.
• Candidates with disabilities will have to enclose certificates of disabilities issued by Govt. authority.
• Certificate of Ex-servicemen issued by the Director, Sainik Welfare Board.
• BTC residential certificate from the concerned authority.
• Scanned Signature.
