Assam Judicial Service Recruitment Details

1. Grade-I of Assam Judicial Service

No of posts: 11 Posts [UR: 10, PwBD: 1]

Salary: Rs. 1,44,840-1,94,660/- per month plus other allowances as admissible under the Rules.

Required Eligibility: 

• Must be holder of Degree in Law from a recognized University.
• Must be practicing as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction on the last date fixed for receipt of applications and must have been so practicing for a continuous period of not less than 7 (seven) years as on such date.
• Must be a practicing advocate also at the time of appointment.

Age: 

• Unreserved: Age must be between 35 to 45 years as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications.
• PwBD: Upper age limit for persons with disabilities (PwBD) belonging to only Locomotor Disability shall be relaxable by 10 (ten) years.
