Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has published recruitment notifications regarding recruitment of 9717 Posts of Graduate Teachers and Post Graduate Teachers in the different High School and Secondary Schools under the Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam. Directorate of Secondary Education, Assam has conducted the Teachers Eligibility Test cum Recruitment Test 2024 on 19th January, 2025 against the 9717  vacant posts. Candidates who appeared in the Assam TET exam may check their answer key from the links given below.

Soft copies of question papers of Assam GT/PGT TET Recruitment Exam, held on 19th January 2025, will be available on the official website on 4th February 2025 at 11:30 AM. The notification also confirms that the official answer keys for all sets of question papers will be released on the same day.

Details of DSE Assam PGT Recruitment

1. Graduate Teacher

No of posts: 8230 Posts

Scale of Pay: Scale of pay of Rs.14,000/- to 70,000/- including Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/- PM (under Pay Band-2) plus other allowances as admissible under rules.

Educational Qualification: The applicant must be a Post Graduate in concerned subject with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and should possess Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) qualification from an institution recognized by National Council for Teacher Education. Degrees obtained in off-campus and distance education mode shall not be considered as valid.

The candidate shall have to read the same subject as one of the subjects in degree level.

In addition to the academic and professional qualification, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria;

• In case of Assamese Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Assamese language as one of the subjects or have diploma in Assamese Language issued by the Assam Sahitya Sabha or read up to HSLC level in Assamese Medium School.
• In case of Bengali Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bengali language as one of the subjects or have Diploma in Bengali issued by the Barak Upatyaka Bangya Sahitya O Sanskriti Sammelan or read up to HSLC level in Bengali Medium School.
• In case of Hindi Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Hindi language as one of the subjects or read upto HSLC level in Hindi Medium School.
• In case of Bodo Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with Bodo language as one of the subjects or read upto HSLC level in Bodo Medium School.
• In case of English Medium School, the applicant must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination with alternative English as one of the subject or read from Class XI onwards in English Medium School.

2. Post Graduate Teacher

No of posts: 1487 Posts

Scale of Pay: Scale of pay of Rs.22,000/ – to 97,000/- including Grade Pay of Rs. 11,800/- PM (under Pay Band- 3) plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.

Educational Qualification: The applicant must be a Post Graduate in concerned subject with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and should possess Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) qualification from an institution recognized by National Council for Teacher Education. Degrees obtained in off-campus and distance education mode shall not be considered as valid.

How to Check Assam GT PGT TET Answer Key

The candidates who have appeared the written exam need to check the answer key and download soft copy of answer sheet at www.madhyamik.assam.gov.in. Applicants may visit the answer key link through the link given below.

• Scroll down, go to Important Links section .
• Click on Assam TET Answer Key link, the link will lead to the Answer Key Page.
• To download the answer sheet candidates have to make a payment of Rs. 50/-.
• To download the answer sheet candidates have to Enter Application no and Password and click on Login button.
• Do the necessary steps and finally download the soft copy of the answer sheet.
• Finally Take a print of the same.
