1. Constable (General Duty)
No of Posts: 39,481 Posts [Male: 35,612 posts, Female: 3,869 posts]
Organization wise number of Posts:
- BSF: 15654
- CISF: 7145
- CRPF: 11541
- SSB: 819
- ITBP: 3017
- Assam Rifles: 1248
- SSF: 35
- NCB: 22
Pay Scale: Pay Level -1 (Rs 18,000 to 56,900) for the post of Sepoy in NCB and Pay Level – 3 (₹21,700/- to ₹ 69,100/-) for all other posts.
Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India. Vacancies in CAPFs & AR are State/UT/area wise, hence a candidate must submit a domicile certificate/ PRC against his domiciled state/ UT.
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 23 years as on 1st January 2025. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2002 and later than 01-01-2007 in normal course. Permissible relaxations in upper age limit for different categories are as under: SC/ ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, Ex-Servicemen: 3 years.

- In the next stage, click on “Apply Online” Link and Login.
- Fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.
- Make payment of application fee as per your category and submit the form.
- At the end, take a print out of the application form .
Application Fee: Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only). Fee are exempted for Female, Ex-servicemen and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
Selection Procedure For SSC GD Constable Recruitment
The selection process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination and Document Verification.
