Details of SCERT Department of School Education Assam Recruitment 2024

1. Assistant Director in the rank of Assistant Professor

No of posts: 19 Posts

Scale of Pay: Pay scale Rs. 30,000 to 1,10,000, GP: Rs. 13,900/-

Essential Qualification:

• Masters Degree in respective subject with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University.
• M. Ed, with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University.
• NET/SLET from UGC or Ph.D. in Education or in the concerned subject from any recognized University,

Desirable:

• Proficiency in the use of ICT for educational purpose.
• Preference will be given to candidates having publication of Research paper in National/International journal

Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2024. The upper age limit is as given below

• 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
• By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years.
• Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates.
