The Director of Cultural Affairs Assam, Guwahati has published notification regarding Artiste/Family pension along with Barxik Silpi Sanman (One time Financial Assistance) of the Govt. of Assam for outstanding contribution in the field of Art & Culture in the State and Special Family Pension will also be offered to indigent families of Artistes who had made spectacular contributions in the State’s cultural sphere and have unfortunately passed away.

Assam Shilpi Pension 2024 Details

Name of Scheme: ASSAM AWARD OF PENSION TO ARTISTES AND SPECIAL PENSION TO THE FAMILIES

Name of the Department: Director of Cultural Affairs, Assam

Eligibility Criteria: 

• The age of the applicant for Silpi Pension must be 60 years or above.
• The applicant must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• One applicant with one mobile number can apply/register only once.

Starting Date of Online Application: 2nd September, 2024 (10:00 AM onwards)

Last Date of Online Application: 15th October, 2024 till 12:00 AM

Please Note: For Divyang and Bed-ridden Artistes, the Cultural Development Officers or the Junior Assistants of Cultural Centres under Directorate of Cultural Affairs from their respective districts will visit the homes of those applicants for applying through online process. The names and contact numbers of the concerned Cultural Development Officers/Junior Assistants will be available in the given weblink.

How To Apply for Assam Shilpi Pension

Applicants can apply through online mode from 2nd September, 2024 (10:00 AM onwards) for consideration under the Assam Award of Pension to Artistes and Special Pension to their Families Rules, 1987 as amended. Last date of submission of online application forms: 15th October, 2024 till 12:00 AM IST.

Online application process must be completed before last date of form submission, after which the weblink will be disabled.

Applicants need to upload the below mentioned documents at the time of online application

• PAN Card ( JPG format within 100 kb).
• Aadhaar Card. ( JPG format within 100 kb).
• Age Proof Certificate (Birth Certificate, Matriculation/School leaving/Transfer Certificate by recognized Educational Board, Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, etc.) ( JPG format within 100 kb).
• Identity proof (Passport, Aadhaar, Voter Id, Driving License, Ration Card, Bank Passbook, Photo Identity Card, etc.) ( JPG format within 100 kb)
• Passport Photograph of the applicant ( In case of Silpi Pension) ( JPG format within 100 kb).
• Single passport photograph of the applicant and Joint photograph of Husband and Wife (In case of Family Pension) ( JPG format within 100 kb).
• Bank Passbook first page ( JPG format within 100 kb).
• Income Certificate ( JPG format within 100 kb).
• Death Certificate of the Artiste (In case of Family Pension). ( JPG format within 100 kb).
• Disability Certificate. ( In case of Divyang Artistes) ( JPG format within 100 kb).
• Achievements proof certificates. (PDF format within 5mb).
• Recognitions Proof certificate (PDF format within 5mb).
