Details of GMC Recruitment 2024
1. Teacher
No of Posts: 06 Posts
Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/- p.m.
Subjects: Hindi, Maths, English, Science, Social Studies
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a graduate degree from a recognized university and Candidates must have a degree in B.Ed or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed) with a minimum of 50% marks
Experience: Minimum 2 yrs of experience in the related field is required.
Age Limit: Max 35 years of age as on 01.01.2024
How to Apply For GMC Recruitment 2024
Applications in Standard Format along with supporting documents are invited from the intending candidates who are native citizen of Assam and fulfil the eligibility, norms of educational qualification, age, work experience etc as mentioned. The application should reach the below given address on or before 30/09/2024.
Applications without contact number, photograph, signature of the candidate or received after last date and time or received through any other mode or incomplete in any respect will be summarily rejected.
Applications in closed envelope have to be submitted in the drop box at the O/o Guwahati Municipal Corporation, Personnel Branch, 2nd Floor, Uzanbazar, Guwahati-781001.
Candidates shall bring original documents/ certificates at the interview for verification, failing which they shall not be allowed to appear. Candidates are required to bring PAN card or any Valid ID and/ or address proof at the interview.
Selection Procedure For GMC Teacher Recruitment
Candidates who fulfil the criteria need to appear for Written Test and Viva Voce.
The date and syllabus of written test and viva voce will be notified in due course of time which will be published in the GMC official website. The Applicants are therefore requested to visit GMC website (gmc.assam.gov.in) regularly for any updates till the process of engagement is over
