Details of Assam Transport Department Recruitment

1. Enforcement lnspector (El) under Transport Department.

No of posts: 27 Posts [UR: 14, OBC/MOBC: 06, Reserved for TT & ADIVASI: 01, SC: 02, STP: 02, STH: 02]

Scale of Pay: Rs. 22,00/- to 97,000/- GP: Rs. 9,400/- Pay Band – 3

Educational Qualification: A Degree in Arts/Science or Commerce of a University recognized by the Govt, of Assam or H.S,S,L,C with 3 (three) years Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised institute of Govt, of Assam/Govt. of India and also duly recognised by AICTE

Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024. Relaxation of age is SC: 5 years, ST: 5 years, OBC/ MOBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years.

Candidates, already in regular Government service, whether in permanent or temporary capacity other than casual/ad-hoc/daily wages/hourly paid/contract basis, in order to prove their employment, must upload a certificate against the applied post, issued by the competent authority under which he/she is working.

However, candidates, seeking pay protection, continuation in service etc,, must upload ‘NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE (NOC)’against the applied post, issued by the competent authority under which he/she is working.

• SC/ST/OBC/MOBC: Rs. 197.20/-
• BPL: Rs.47.20/-
