Details of Morigaon District Judiciary Recruitment
1. Peon
No of posts: 03 Posts (OBC/MOBC: 1, UR: 2)
Salary: ₹ 12,000 – ₹ 52,000 + Grade Pay ₹ 3,900 per month
Required Eligibility: Must have passed Class VIII but not HSLC. HSLC-passed candidates are ineligible.
2. Chowkidar
No of posts: 01 Post ( UR: 1)
Salary: ₹ 12,000 – ₹ 52,000 + Grade Pay ₹ 3,900 per month.
Required Eligibility: Must have passed Class VIII but not HSLC. HSLC-passed candidates are ineligible.
3. Driver
No of posts: 01 Post ( OBC/MOBC: 1)
Salary: ₹ 14,000 – ₹ 70,000 + Grade Pay ₹ 5,200 per month.
Required Eligibility:
- Must have passed HSLC.
- Must hold a valid professional driving license to drive LMV/four-wheeler vehicle for at least the last 5 years.
4. Process Server
No of posts: 01 Post ( OBC/MOBC)
Salary: ₹ 14,000 – ₹ 70,000 + Grade Pay ₹ 5,200 per month.
Required Eligibility:
- Must be a graduate in any discipline.
- Must have knowledge of the official language of Assam.
Age Limit(For All Posts): Upper age limit for candidates shall not exceed 40 years for Unreserved Category; 42 years for OBC/MOBS category (as per Govt. OM No. ABP.6/2016/51, dated 02.09.2020) as on 01.01.2025.
Selection Process For Morigaon Judiciary Recruitment
For the Posts of Peon and Chowkidar: Viva Voce.
For the Posts of Driver: Skill test followed by Viva Voce.
For the Posts of Process Server: Written test followed by Viva Voce.

Interested and eligible candidates must submit their application in standard form along with self-attested copies of all testimonials regarding Educational Qualification, Age, Caste, Experience Ceftificate (if any) & Character Certificate, Copy of the Employment Exchange Registration Card along with 3 (Three) copies of recent passpott size photographs, duly signed by the candidate on the reverse side and addresses to: the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Morigaon, VIP Road, Opposite of D.C. Office, Morigaon. P.O.:- Morigaon, Pin- 782105, Assam, through post. The candidates who intend to submit their application by hand directly shall drop their applications in the drop box which will be kept in the Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Morigaon from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the working days.
