Details of Navodaya Vidyalaya Recruitment 2024
1. Female Staff Nurse
No of posts: 121 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc (Hons.) in Nursing OR Regular course in B.Sc Nursing OR Post Basic B.Sc Nursing.
- Registered as a Nurse or Nurse Midwife (RN or RM) with any state nursing council.
- 2.5 years experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.
2. Assistant Section Officer
No of posts: 05 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- 3 years experience in administrative, and financial matters in Central govt/Autonomous organizations under the Central Govt.
Age Limit: Between 23 and 33 years.
3. Audit Assistant
No of posts: 12 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- B.Com from a recognized university.
- 3 years experience in accounts work in Government/Semi-Government/ Autonomous organizations.
Age Limit: Between 18 and 30 years.
4. Junior Translation Officer
No of posts: 04 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level OR Master’s Degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Degree level. OR Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the Degree level; OR Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium ofa examination at the Degree level; OR Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at Degree level;
- Recognized Diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Government offices, including Govt. of India Undertaking.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 32 years .
5. Legal Assistant

Educational Qualification:
- Degree in Law from a recognized university.
- 3 years of experience in handling legal cases in Government Department/ Autonomous Bodies/ PSU.
Age Limit: Between 23 and 35 Years.
6. Stenographer

Educational Qualification:
- 12th pass from a recognized board or university.
- Skill test norms
Dictation: 10 mts@ 80 w.p.m.
Transcription: 50 mts (Eng.) 65 mts (Hindi) (On computer)
Age Limit: Between 18 and 27 years.
7. Computer Operator
No of posts: 02 Posts
Educational Qualification: BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science /IT) OR BE/B. Tech (Computer Science) from a recognized university.
Age Limit: Between 18 and 30 years.
8. Computer Operator
No of posts: 78 Posts
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management. OR, Trade proficiency certificate in catering with 10 years of service in defence services (for Ex-servicemen only).
Age Limit: Upto 35 years
9. Junior Secretariat Assistant
No of posts: 381 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- 12th pass from a recognised board or university & possessing a minimum speed of 30 wpm in English typewriting or 25 wpm in Hindi typewriting.
- Passed +2 level of senior secondary from CBSE/State Board with Secretarial practices and office management as vocational subjects.
Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years
10. Electrician cum Plumber
No of posts: 128 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- 10th pass from a recognized board or university.
- ITI certificate in the trade of electrician/ wireman.
- 2 years experience in electrical installation/wiring/plumbing.
Age Limit: Between 18 and 40 years
11. Lab Attendant
No of posts: 161 Posts
Educational Qualification: 10th pass with certificate/diploma in Laboratory technique. or 12th Class with Science stream from a recognized Board/ University.
Age Limit: Between 18 and 30 years
12. Mess Helper
No of posts: 442 Posts
Educational Qualification:
- Matriculation (10th pass).
- 5 years experience working in a government residential organization’s mess/school’s mess.
Age Limit: Between 18 and 30 years
13. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)
No of posts: 19 Posts
Educational Qualification: Class X from a recognized board.
Age Limit: Between 18 and 30 years
Age Relaxation for each position: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below:
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- OBC-NCL: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years
