Details of APSC Computer Operator Recruitment 2024
1. Computer Operator
No of posts: 17 Posts [General: 8, OBC/M0BC: 05, SC: 01, ST(P): 02, ST(H):01]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000/- to 60,500/- GP: Rs. 6,200/-
Educational Qualification: A candidate must have Higher Secondary or Class XII passed from any Government recognized Board/Council.
Computer Proficiency:
- Candidates must have good working knowledge of office productivity software tools (independent of any operating system i.e. MS Windows, Linux, Mac etc.) such as —
- Word Processor,
- Spreadsheet,
- Presentation Graphics,
- Content of Database,
- Internet and
- E-Mail.
- Candidates must possess a minimum 6 (six) months completed diploma/ certificate in computer proficiency, from a Govt. of Assam recognized institution (no breaks in qualification admissible) and must have computing knowledge in Assamese and English Language.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024. Relaxation of age is SC: 5 years, ST: 5 years, OBC/ MOBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years.
