Details of Assam Tourism Department Recruitment 2024

1. Tourism Development Officer (Grade-ll) under the Directorate of Tourism, Government of Assam.

No of posts: 12 Posts

Name of Department: Tourism, Government of Assam

Scale of Pay: Rs. 22,000/- to 97,000/- GP: Rs. 9,400/-

Educational Qualification: Minimum Qualification shall be a Graduate from a University in any stream recognized by the Government with knowledge of computer of at least 6 (six) months duration. Graduate in Hospitality, Hotel, Travel and Tourism Management or Administration from a recognized University with knowledge of Computer of at least 6 (six) months duration.

Weightage:

• Knowledge of any Foreign Language other than English or language spoken in lndian Subcontinent.
• Working Experience in travel and Tourism or Hotel management administration section.

Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024. Relaxation of age is SC: 5 years, ST: 5 years, OBC/ MOBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years.
