IIT Guwahati Recruitment Details:
1. SRF(DIRECT)
No. of post: 05
Remuneration: Rs. 42,550.00 per month
Duration of Appointment in months: 11 Months
Required Eligibility: Post Graduate in Basic Science or Graduate/Post Graduate in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars selected through National Eligibility Test CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The selection process through National Level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOs, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IISc, IISCR etc.+2 yrs of research Exp.
2. Project Engineer
No. of post: 01
Remuneration: Rs. 56,710.00 per month
Duration of Appointment in months: 11 Months
Required Eligibility: PhD degree Or Master`s degree in Engineering +3 yrs exp. Or Bachelor`s degree in Engineering +6 yrs exp.
Desirable experience:
- Expertise in Nano Science, Nanotechnology, Nanobiology, Nanoelectronics and hands-on experience in Nano-fabrication and characterization (such as AFM, SEM, TEM, XRD, Electro-Spinning Device, Materials Printing System, Laser Micro-machining, Wire Bonding, Double Sided Mask Aligner, Thermal/E–Beam Evaporation, RF Magnetron Sputtering Unit, Oxidation/ Diffusion Furnaces Reactive Ion Etching, FESEM-EBL, Mask Writer, Raman, IR, Cryogenic DC Probe Station and Pulse parametric Analyzer).
- Administration and general implementation of the project along with report writing, operation and maintenance of High end micro/nano fabrication & Characterization facilities, Health-Care, Energy and POCT devices.
3. Associate Project Engineer
No. of post: 01
Remuneration: Rs. 42,550.00 per month
Duration of Appointment in months: 11 Months
Required Eligibility: Master`s degree Engineering or Bachelor`s degree in Engineering + 3 yrs exp.
Desirable experience:
- Expertise in NanoScience, Nanotechnology, Nanobiology, Nanoelectronics and hands-on experience in Nano-fabrication and characterization (such as AFM, SEM, TEM, XRD, Electro-Spinning Device, Materials Printing System, Laser Micro-machining, Wire Bonding, Double Sided Mask Aligner, Thermal/E–Beam Evaporation, RF Magnetron Sputtering Unit, Oxidation/ Diffusion Furnaces Reactive Ion Etching, FESEM-EBL, Mask Writer, Raman, IR, Cryogenic DC Probe Station and Pulse Parametric Analyzer).

- Expertise in Nano Science, Nanotechnology, Nanobiology, Nanoelectronics and hands-on experience in Nano-fabrication and characterization (such as AFM, SEM, TEM, XRD, Electro-Spinning Device, Materials Printing System, Laser Micro-machining, Wire Bonding, Double Sided Mask Aligner, Thermal/E–Beam Evaporation, RF Magnetron Sputtering Unit, Oxidation/ Diffusion Furnaces Reactive Ion Etching, FESEM-EBL, Mask Writer, Raman, IR, Cryogenic DC Probe Station and Pulse Parametric Analyzer).

Desirable experience:
- Basic fundamental knowledge of lab maintenance.
- Movement of Files, Lab Cleaning, Electrical and Lab Maintenance and other related activities.
