Assam Skill University Recruitment Posts Details
1. Professor
No of Posts: 05 posts
Department wise Vacancies:
- Applied Management: 01

Salary: Academic Level 14.
Required Eligibility: As per the UGC / AICTE regulations regarding direct recruitment of Professor.
2. Senior Instructor (Contractual)
No of Posts: 02 posts
Department wise Vacancies:
- Mathematics and Statistics: 01
- Communication and Soft skill: 01
Salary: Rs. 36000/- (Consolidated).
Required Eligibility:
For Mathematics and Statistics
- A Master’s degree with at least 50% marks or its equivalent in Mathematics/Mathematical Science / Statistics from Government recognized institution/University with One year of experience in handling software like MATLAB, Python, R, SPSS, or any other programming language used for Mathematical research. The candidates should be capable of teaching both mathematics and statistics to the students of 1st Year in UG course. OR
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or its equivalent in Mathematics/Mathematical Science/ Statistics from Government recognized institution/University with Three years of experience in handling software like MATLAB, Python, R, SPSS, or any other programming language used for Mathematical research. The candidates should be capable of teaching both mathematics and statistics to the students of 1st Year in UG course.
For Communication and Soft skill
- A Master’s degree with at least 50% marks or its equivalent in ELT/English from Government recognized institution/University. Minimum one year of experience in teaching English/Soft Skills and student counselling. OR
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or its equivalent in ELT/English from Government recognized institution/University. Minimum three years of experience in teaching English/Soft Skills and student counselling. OR
- An MBA / Mass Communication degree with at least 50% marks or its equivalent from Government recognized institution/University. Minimum one year of experience in teaching English/Soft Skills and student counselling.
Age: Upper age limit is 45 Years.
3. Accountant
No of Posts: 01 post
Salary: PB-2, Rs.22000 – Rs.87000/- +GP Rs.9700
Required Eligibility:
- Bachelor Degree in Commerce from a government recognized University / Institution.
- Five years of post-qualification experience relevant field in Government Institution / Private Business Organization of repute / PSUs / Universities.
- A Diploma/certificate of minimum of 6 months duration in computer applications/experience of handling accounting software such as Tally, ERP.
Age: Upper age limit is 45 Years.
4. Assistant Director Community Outreach & PR(Contractual)
No of Posts: 01 post
Salary: Rs. 0.75 to 1.0 Lakh (Consolidated Pay)
Required Eligibility:
- Master’s degree with consistently good academic record. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in leading/managing Community, Outreach & PR activity with Corporate Houses/ Higher Education Institute/ Skill Development Institutions of repute, OR
- Graduate degree with consistently good academic record. Minimum 05 years of relevant work experience in leading/managing Community, Outreach & PR activity with Corporate Houses/ Higher Education Institute/ Skill Development Institutions of repute.
Age: Upper age limit is 45 Years.
5. Assistant Programmer(Contractual)
No of Posts: 01 post
Salary: Rs. 40000 to 50000 (Consolidated Pay)
Required Eligibility:
- Master’s Degree with at least 50% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed in Computer Application/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent with 2 years’ experience of “handling Systems including Server, Networks, Clouds, Clients”/Electronic Data Processing, out of which at least One year experience should be in actual Programming/ system administration, OR
- B.E./B. Tech with at least 50% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed in Computer Applications/ Computer Science/ Information Technology or equivalent with 3 years’ experience of “handling Systems including Server, Networks, Clouds, Clients”/Electronic Data Processing, out of which at least One year experience should be in actual Programming/ system administration OR
- B.Sc./ BCA with at least 50% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed from a recognized University with 5 years’ experience of “handling Systems including Server, Networks, Clouds, Clients”/Electronic Data Processing, out of which at least One year experience should be in actual Programming/ system administration
