Assam Inland Water Department Recruitment Details
1. Project Officer
Remuneration: Rs. 1,50,000/- per month or 30% hike on the existing remuneration whichever is less
Qualification: Master Degree from any Govt. recognized University/Institutions
Work Experience:
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in Partnership management with service providers both public and private, coordinating relationship with project stakeholders as well as external resource agencies
- Knowledge of Team building across the project and handholding on project management, performing administrative function, financial management and conflict resolution to district and other units.
- Knowledge of project-based studies, evaluation and research assignment.
- Knowledge of quality control practices
- Should have experience in EAP project overall handling.
2. Communication & Media Specialist
Remuneration: Rs 1,00,000/- to 1,20,000/- or 30% hike on the existing remuneration whichever is less.
Qualification: Master’s degree in Communications, Social Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Political Sciences, International Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related fields.
Work Experience:
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience across communications and media strategy, media planning, content management, public relations, and digital/social media engagement.
- Good communication with high quality writing and drafting skills.
- Working knowledge of photo editing tools, audio-video editing tools.

A walk-in-interview will be held on the date & venue mentioned below at the office of Assam Inland Water Transport Development Society (AIWTDS) for selection of candidates to be engaged purely on contractual basis for the following positions
Venue: AIWTD Society 3 rd Floor, Directorate of Inland Water Transport Ulubari, Guwahati – 7 Assam.
Date of Walk-in-Interview: 10th November, 2023
Time of Walk-in-Interview:
- Project Officer: From 10.30 AM to 01.00 PM
- Communication & Media Specialist: From 2.00 PM to 04.00 PM
Interested candidates may appear before the selection committee with all original documents in support of age, qualification, and experience along with self attested photocopies of the same. The candidates are also required to carry 2 copies of recent passport photograph along with the prescribed application form available on the AIWTDS website.
