Forensic Science Assam Recruitment Details

1. Scientific Assistant

No of posts: 36 Posts

• 24 nos, of post for Regional Forensic Science Laboratories at Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, Silchar and Tezpur respectively,
• 7 nos. of post for Mobile Forensic Laboratories
• 5 nos. of Post for Directorate Office at Kahilipara, Guwahati-781019)

Scale of Pay: PB-2 (Rs.14,000- 60,500/) +Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600/-

Educational Qualification: 

• B.Sc in Chemistry/ Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject. OR
• B.Sc in Botany/Zoology Anthropology (Physical) / Biotechnology/ Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject. OR
• B.Sc in Physics/Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject.

Mode of selection for Forensic Science Department Assam Recruitment

The candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear both in written test and skill test(Only for those who qualified in the written test)

Written Test: Concerned Subjects General Knowledge and General English: 70 Marks

Skill Test: 30 Marks
