Atmanirbhar Assam is a flagship scheme of Govt. of Assam to support the unemployed youth of state Assam. The Govt. of Assam will provide financial assistance from 2 Lakhs to 5 Lakhs to the unemployed youth under the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme. The eligible beneficiaries need to apply online to get the benefits of the said Scheme. The Govt. of Assam has started to receive the online applications for the Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme. Govt. of Assam will select 2 lakh eligible beneficiaries over next 2 years – 1 lakh in FY 2023-24 and 1 lakh in FY 2024-25. The financial Assistance combination of Govt. of Assam Grant along with Interest free loan.

Mukhyamantri Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme Eligibility Criteria
Locality: The Beneficiaries should be permanent resident of Assam
Educational Qualification: Class 10th Pass
Age Limit: The age of the applicant should be within the age range of 28 to 40 years as on 1st April 2023.
Employment Exchange Registration: Should be registered in the employment exchange of before 1st April 2023.
Other Eligibilities:
- Beneficiary should involved in the income generating activities and should have skill/knowledge for the same
- Beneficiary should not have any issue related to the loan repayment which are already taken.
- Beneficiary can not belong from the family of Govt. Employee/Govt. Pensioner.
- Only one member of a family can avail the benefits of the Scheme.

Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Assam Scheme Benefits
Through Atmanirbhar Asom Scheme the Govt of Assam aims to cover 2 lakh eligible beneficiaries over the next 2 years. Accordingly, 1 lakh youth will be targeted during FY 2023-24 and rest 1 lakh will be targeted in FY 2024-25. The Financial Assistance will be provided as per the qualification of the Beneficiary.
