Eligibility Details for Assam Pre Metric Scholarship 2023

• Student should belongs to Scheduled Castes Category.
• The Annual income of Parents/Guardians should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh per annum from all sources

How to Apply for Pre Metric Scholarship 2023

Applications are invited for Pre-Matric Scholarship to Scheduled Casts students studying from class I to VIII from Education Institutions of Assam for the year 2023-24. The Scholarship application forms can be obtained by the respective Educational Institutes from the concerned Sub-Divisional Welfare offices free of cost.

The student shall submit the application form along with self attested photocopies of front page of their Bank Pass Book, Caste Certificate, Annual Income Certificate to the Head of the Institution. The Head of the Institution will then prepare the list of applicants with details as per application format and submit it to the concerned office of the Sub-Divisional Welfare Officer ,along with the original application forms and other relevant documents

All Sub-Divisional Welfare Officers will then scrutinize the application forms verify the Castes Certificate, Annual Income Certificate & Bank A/C details of the applicants and submit the compiled list both in Hard & Soft Copy (in MS word format only) of the Institutions to the office of the undersigned on or before 31st October, 2023.
