SAMARTH Admission Portal Assam

The Directorate of Higher Education, Assam has asked the students apply online to take admission in BA, BCom, BSc courses under DHE Assam through a new portal called SAMARTH. “Samarth” is an initiative by the Ministry of Education started in 2019, under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology NMEICT-II (now NMEICT-III), with an aim to enable the universities and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs).

The SAMARTH Admission Portal, which has been launched by the Education Minister of Assam on 14th June 2023. SAMARTH Admission Portal is a common application portal of Assam Higher Education Admission where students need to online for admission to undergraduate courses. On this portal, students can submit admission applications for aforesaid courses.

Students who have Qualified the HS final exam or equivalent can submit applications to take admission to Colleges and Universities in Assam using SAMARTH Online Admission Portal. A merit list will be prepared by the authority as per the online applications received from the students. As per the merit list students may take the admission in respective colleges. The Online application process is given below in few steps.

• Click on the Online Application Link.
• Now, an official web portal will load in the new tab of your browser.
• In that portal, you will get the option to register yourself. After registration, you have to provide all your asked details.
• After that, you have to upload your documents.
• After successful completion of the above steps, your application will be submitted.
• Also, you will receive an acknowledgement copy of your submission.
• Keep that acknowledgement copy for future use.
