KBVSAS University Recruitment Details
1. Professor
No of Posts: 09 posts
Scale of Pay: Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200/-
Eligibility Criteria: As per UGC Norms.
2. Associate Professor
No of Posts: 10 posts
Scale of Pay: Rs. 1,31,400 – 2,17,100/-
Eligibility Criteria: As per UGC Norms.
3. Assistant Professor
No of posts: 13 posts
Scale of Pay: Rs.57,700 – 1,82,400/-
Eligibility Criteria: As per UGC Norms.
4. Lower Division Assistant (LDA)
No of posts: 1 post [UR]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000-49,000 + GP 6,200/-
Eligibility Criteria: Graduation in any discipline from any recognized University, preferably in Computer Application
Desirable: Two years experience of working in any higher educational institution.
5. Library Book Arranger (LBA)
No of posts: 2 posts [UR, OBC]
Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000-49,000 + GP 6,200/-
Eligibility Criteria: Graduation in any discipline from any recognized University along with 6 (six) Months Computer Application certificate from any recognised institution.
Desirable: Two years experience of working in a Library of any higher educational institution.
6. Laboratory Bearer
No of posts: 1 post [UR]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 12,000-37,500 + GP 4,400/-
Eligibility Criteria: Must be Class-VIII Passed and not above Class-XII (HSSLC). Must have knowledge in operating Photocopier Machine.
Desirable: 2 (Two) years experience in handling laboratory equipments and computers in higher education institutions.
7. Peon
No of posts: 4 posts [STP, STH, SC, EWS]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 12,000-37,500 + GP 4,400/-
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be Class-VIII Passed and not above Class-XII (HSSLC).
- Must be physically fit with sound health to send documents/ files to various Offices within the University as well as outside the campus, etc.
- Must have knowledge in operating Photocopier Machine.
- Must know driving (both two-wheeler and four-wheeler).
Age: Age limit for the aforementioned posts are as per UCG and Govt. of Assam Norms. Please check official notification for more details.
Character Certificate: A certificate about good character from the Head of the Institution last attended or served shall ordinarily accompany an application for any post of Assistant Professor if he/she is not already in service.

For Posts 1 to 3: Application processing FEES of Rs.2000/-(Rupees Two Thousand) only to be paid by the UR category applicant and reserved category applicants need to pay Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only of the above specified amount. The application fees are non-refundable.
For Posts 4 to 7: Application processing fees of Rs. 500/-(Rupees five hundred) only to be paid by the UR category applicant and reserved category applicants need to pay Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty) only of the above specified amount. The application fees are non-refundable.
