Assam Printing and Stationery Department Recruitment Details
1. Senior Information & Public Relations Officer
No of posts: 04 posts [UR: 03, OBC/ MOBC: 01]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 30, 000/- to 1,10 ,000/- Grade Pay: Rs 13,900/-
Educational Qualification:
- A graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university only will be acceptable (Professional/Technical Degrees allowed)
- A degree/diploma in Journalism or in Mass Communication from an institute recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC) or at least five years’ experience in Journalism in a responsible capacity in a Newspaper/News/Public Relations Organization/Government Public Relations Department
- A good command over English
- Knowledge of Assamese or any other regional language or local language of the state
- Knowledge of Computer Application’ The candidates must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma/Certificate in computer proficiency from a Govt recognized institute’
2. Junior Information & Public Relations Officer
No of posts: 04 posts [UR: 03, OBC/ MOBC: 01]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 30, 000/- to 1,10 ,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 12,700/-
Educational Qualification:
- A graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university only will be acceptable (Professional/Technical Degrees allowed)
- A degree/diploma in Journalism or in Mass Communication from an institute recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC) or at least three years’ experience in Journalism in a responsible capacity in a Newspaper/News/Public Relations Organization/Government Public Relations Department
- A good command over English
- Knowledge of Assamese or any other regional language or local language of the state

Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2023.
- By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
- By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years
- Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt.
