Details of AAU Jorhat Recruitment Details
1. Project Associate
No of post: 01 Post
Scale of Pay: Rs.4.80 lakh to Rs.6.18 lakhs per year.
Educational Qualification: The applicant must possess Post Graduate Degree (min two years duration) in Agri or allied subjects, from any Govt. recognized University/Institutions.
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with professional experience of working in agri. value chains including farm management/managing large scale agricultural production operations and knowledge or agricultural practices, principles of conducting varietal assessments, field trials and seed production.
2. Project Associate (Fisheries)
No of posts: 02 posts
Scale of Pay: Rs.4.80 lakh to Rs.6.18 lakhs per year.
Educational Qualification: The applicant must possess Post Graduate Degree (full time, minimum two years duration) in Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc.) from any Govt. recognized University/ Institutions.
Experience: Sufficient professional experience of working in fisheries value chains including farm management/managing large scale fish production operations and knowledge of fish culture practices, principles of extension education, field trials and seed production etc., will be preferred.
3. Assistant Project Scientist (GIS)
No of posts: 03 Posts
Scale of Pay: Rs.3.60 lakh to Rs.4.37 lakhs per year.
Educational Qualification: The applicant must possess Bachelor’s degree in allied subject with Specialization in GIS/Remote Sensing related fields.
Experience: Sufficient experience in handling GIS/Remote Sensing related work in any public/private sector organization.
4. Assistant Project Scientist (Seed/Agronomy/PH)
No of posts: 02 Posts
Scale of Pay: Rs.3.60 lakh to Rs.4.37 lakhs per year.
Educational Qualification: The applicant must possess Bachelor’s degree in in Agriculture or Agriculture Engineering or Rural development or related field.
Experience: Sufficient working experience in the required field including basic knowledge of agriculture, extension techniques and rice value chain.
5. Accounts Manager
No of posts: 01 Post
Scale of Pay: Rs.4.20 lakh to Rs.6.18 lakhs per year.
Educational Qualification: The applicant must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Commerce/ Accountancy/Finance and Accounts or a closely related field from a recognized University/Institute.
Experience: The applicant must have at least Five years of professional experience in accounting management in any Public/Private sector organization.
Computer Skills: The applicant must have experience of using Internet based applications, using and working with Tally Accounting System/MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power Point and other related applications.
6. Field Data Enumerator (FDE)
No of posts: 02 Posts
Scale of Pay: Rs.3.00 lakh to Rs.3.60 lakhs per year.
Essential Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
Experience: Candidates having experience in the field of agri-marketing will be given preference, particularly field data collection including with electronic/digital devices.
Computer Skills: Candidates should have knowledge of basic computer applications e.g., Internet, e-mail, Computer applications including MS Office etc.
7. Research Technician
No of posts: 03 Posts
Scale of Pay: Rs.1.80 lakh to Rs.2.19 lakhs per year.
Essential Qualification: At least Higher Secondary (10+2) pass.
Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in rice production or farming and rice machinery operations. Experience in organizing Farmers meeting and community mobilization would be an added advantage.
