Post Details of KV Borjhar Guwahati Recruitment 2023
1. PGT (English, Hindi, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Commerce, Economics and Political Science)
Remuneration: Rs. 32500/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification:
Essential: Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject.
Or
Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subject as per the Post:
- PGT (English)- English
- PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
- PGT (Maths) Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics
- PGT (Physics)–Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/Nuclear Physics.
- PGT (Chemistry) Chemistry/ Bio. Chem.
- PGT (Biology) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/Bio Technology/Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
- PGT (History) – History
- PGT Geography-Geography
- PGT (Commerce) – Master’s Degree in Commerce. However, holder of Degrees of M.Com in Applied/Business, Economics shall not be eligible.
- PGT (Economics) – Economics/ Applied Economics/Business Economics.
2. PGT (Computer Science)
Remuneration: Rs. 32500/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification:
Essential: At-least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following;
B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognized by the Govt. of India. OR B.E or B. Tech. (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized University. OR M.Sc (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University. OR B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized University. OR Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from recognized University. OR ‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject. OR ‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation.
Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English
3. TGT (Science, English, S.ST, Maths, Sanskrit, Hindi)
Remuneration: Rs. 31250/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification:
Essential: At-least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following;
Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate ; OR Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate. The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under according to posts:
- For TGT (Sanskrit): Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.
- For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
- For TGT (English): English as a subject in all the three years.
- For TGT (S.St) Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography.
- For TGT (Maths) – Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
- For TGT (Science)- Botany, Zoology and Chemistry
Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose will be preferred if suitable otherwise. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be preferred if suitable otherwise.
Proficiency in teaching through Hindi and English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
4. TGT (Art Education)
Remuneration: Rs. 31250/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification:
Essential: Five Years’ recognized Diploma in drawing and Painting/ Sculpture/ Graphic Art from recognized University/ Institution. OR Equivalent recognized Degree from recognized University / Institution.
Working knowledge of Hindi & English. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be preferred if suitable otherwise.
Desirable: Working knowledge of Computer Application.
5. Assamese Language & German Language Teacher
Remuneration: Rs. 31250/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification:
Essential:
For Assamese– Assamese as a Major subject in Graduation or Graduation who have studied Assamese in all the three years of Graduation. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be preferred if suitable otherwise.
For German– Graduation in German language or Graduate from any discipline and B.2.2 from Goethe Institute. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be preferred if suitable otherwise.
Desirable: Working knowledge of Hindi & English, Working knowledge of Computer Application.
6. PRT
Remuneration: Rs. 26250/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification:
Essential:
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and 2 years diploma in elementary education (by whatever name known.) or Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % marks and 4 years bachelor of elementary education (B.El.Ed.). Or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50 % mark and 2 years diploma in education (special education) or Graduation with at least 50 % marks and bachelor of education(B.Ed.)
Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose will be preferred if suitable otherwise. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university will be preferred if suitable otherwise.

7. Counsellor
Remuneration: Rs. 31250/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification:
M.A /M.Sc in Psychology from a recognized college or university + Regular one year post graduate diploma in guidance and counseling. Or M.A./M.Sc./M.Com with B.Ed./M.Ed. qualification+ regular one year post graduate diploma in guidance and counseling. Desirable Minimum one year experience in providing career/ educational counseling to student at school or working knowledge and experience in placement bureaus or registration with rehabilitation council of India as vocational counselor
8. Computer Instructor (One each for Secondary and Primary section)
Remuneration: Rs. 26250/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification: B.Ed. B.Tech (Computer Science)/ BCA/ MCA/ M.Sc (Computer Science) M.Sc. (Electronics with Computer Science Component)/ M.Sc. (IT)/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) Or Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in any Science subject/ Mathematics from recognized University with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from Govt recognized university/ institute. OR Post Graduate Degree in any subject with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from Govt. recognized University/ ‘O’ Level from DOEACC. OR Post Graduate Degree in any subject with Minimum ‘A’ Level from DOEACC.
9. Art & Craft
Remuneration: PGT @ Rs. 26250/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification: Degree in Art & Craft from recognized university/Institution.
Desirable: Participation at national/ state level with good track record.
10. Coaches
Remuneration: Rs. 26250/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with Diploma (at least of one year duration)/B. P. Ed./D.P.Ed. Or Graduation/ Senior Secondary in any discipline with National Certificate holder in concerned field of sports.
11. Doctor
Remuneration: 1000/- per day* for two hours
Required Qualification: MBBS and registered with MCI/State Medical Council.
12. Nurse
Remuneration: 750/- per day
Required Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing /Diploma in nursing from recognized Institute.
13. Dance Instructor
Remuneration: Rs. 26250/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification: Senior Secondary School or equivalent certificate with 50% marks and Degree or Diploma in Dance.
14. Yoga Instructor
Remuneration: Rs. 26250/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification: Graduate in any subject or equivalent from a recognized University and at least one year Degree/ Diploma in Yoga from a recognized Institute.
15. Special Instructor
Remuneration: Rs. 26250/- p.m.* consolidated
Required Qualification:
- Any Graduate with 50% marks with B.Ed. in Special education. OR
- B.Ed. (General) with one year diploma in special education. OR
- B.Ed. (General) with two-year diploma in special education. OR
- B.Ed. (General) with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education (PGPD). OR
- B.Ed. Special Education and Post Graduate Professional Certificate in Special Education (PGPC). OR
- PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation) OR
- PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disabilities: Physical And Neurological). OR
- PG Diploma in Special Education (Locornotor Impairment And Cerebral Palsy). OR
- Secondary Level Teacher Training Course In Visual Impairment. OR
- Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf. OR
- BA/ B.Ed. in Visual Impairment. OR
- Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI
How to Apply For KV Borjhar Recruitment 2023
Interested and eligibly candidates have to register online through the link given below in the important link section. The online registration link will be available upto 15th February 2023 (05.00PM). However all the candidates registered online need to verify their documents on the day of interview. So they need to report at 8.00 AM on 16th February 2023.
Document Verification Timing: On 16th February 2023 08:00 am to 9:30 am sharp for all the posts scheduled on that particular day. Late entry will not be entertained.
Interview Process: – Online Registration, Document Verification, Interview. For the Posts PRT and Computer Instructor, if more than 25 candidates found eligible, Screening test will be conducted to minimize the candidate for interview.
Candidates are to bring, photographs, filled application form given below with the official notification, self-attested Xerox copy of all the certificates and mark-sheets (of all the years separately, e.g. 1st year 2nd year 3rd year etc.) along with original ones for verification.
Experience in the area concerned will be counted for every completed full year. If it is less than one year no weightage will be accorded. Maximum weightage will be 5 (1 per year). Working experience will be counted if the experience is of the same post applied for.
Candidates are to fill separate forms for different posts they apply and add need to Xerox copies too.
