Assam Excise Department Recruitment Details
Name of the Post: Excise Constable
Total No of Posts: 222 Posts
Scale of Pay: Pay scale of Rs. 14,000-49,000 (Pay Band No.2) and Grade pay Rs.5000/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational qualification : H.S.L.C or equivalent from Govt. recognized Board or Council.
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit Proof of Residence after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
Employment Exchange: Candidates must register his/her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Language: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
Age: 18 to 30 years as on 01-07-2022 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before 01.07.2004 and on or after 01.07.1992).
Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
- SC, ST (P) and ST(H): 05 Years
- OBC/MOBC: 03 Years
