Assam Civil Defence And Home Guards Recruitment Details
1. Platoon Commander
No of Posts: 04 Posts [UR: 03, OBC/MOBC: 01]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000-60,500 (Pay Band No.2) and Grade pay Rs. 8700/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Required Eligibility:
Nationality– Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit Proof of Residence after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
Candidates must register his/her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Essential Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.
Other Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate.
Age: 18 to 40 years as on 01-07-2022 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before 01.07.2004 and on or after 01.07.1982).
Relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for
- SC, ST (P) and ST(H): 05 Years
- OBC/MOBC: 03 Years
2. Havildar
No of Posts: 36 Posts [UR: 18, OBC/MOBC: 09, SC: 03, ST(P): 04, ST(H):02]
Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000-60,500 (Pay Band No.2) and Grade pay Rs. 6800/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Required Eligibility:
Nationality– Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam
Candidates must register his/her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently
Essential Qualification: H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate.
Age: 18 to 40 years as on 01-07-2022 (i.e. candidate must be born on or before 01.07.2004 and on or after 01.07.1982).

3. Constable

Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000-60,500 (Pay Band No.2) and Grade pay Rs. 6800/- plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.
Required Eligibility:
