1. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)
No of posts: 01
Emolument: Rs.20000/- + HRA as admissible.
Project title: All India Coordinated Research Project on Bamboo.
Essential Qualification: First class Master degree in Biotechnology/Forestry/Botany.
2. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)
No of posts: 01
Emolument: Rs.20000/- + HRA as admissible.
Project title: Developing seed testing and seed storage protocols of selected forestry species from diverse forest types Essential
Qualification: First class Master degree in Botany or Agriculture with specialization in Seed Science/Plant Breeding/Plant Physiology.
3. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)
No of posts: 01
Emolument: Rs.20000/- + HRA as admissible
Project title: Assessment of demand and supply of timber, fuel-wood and fodder in India
Essential Qualification: First class Master degree in Economics/Agriculture/Statistics/Mathematics/ Ecology/ Forestry/Botany.
4. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)
No of posts: 01
Emolument: Rs.20000/- + HRA as admissible
Project title: Preparation of forest soil health cards under different forest vegetations in all the forest divisions of India.
Essential Qualification: First class Master degree in Agriculture/Forestry/Soil Science/Environmental Science/Chemistry/Botany.
5. Project Assistant (PA)
No of posts: 01
Emolument: Rs.19000/- per month (fixed)
Project title: Preparation of forest soil health cards under different forest vegetations in all the forest divisions of India.
Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in Botany/Agriculture/Forestry/Environmental Science.
6. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)
No of posts: 01
Emolument: Rs.20000/- + HRA as admissible
Project title: Study of climate driven effects on Indian Forests through long term monitoring.
Essential Qualification: First class Master degree in Soil Science or First-class Master degree in Agriculture/Forestry/ Ecology/Environmental Science with experience in soil science.
7. Project Assistant (PA)
No of posts: 01
Emolument: Rs.19000/- per month (fixed)
Project title: Study of climate driven effects on Indian Forests through long term monitoring.
Essential Qualification: B.Sc. in Botany/Zoology/Forestry/Agriculture.
8. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)
No of posts: 01
Emolument: Rs.20000/- + HRA as admissible
Project title: National programme for conservation and development of forest genetic resources.
Essential Qualification: First class Master degree in M.Sc. in Botany/Forestry with specialization in higher Plant Taxonomy or Ecology.
9. Junior Project Fellows (JPFs)
No of posts: 02
Emolument: Rs.20000/- + HRA as admissible .
Project title: National programme for conservation and development of forest genetic resources.
Essential Qualification: First class Master degree in Plant Breeding and Genetics/Biotechnology.
Age: Age limit as on 31.07.2022 is 25 years for PA & 28 years for JPF. (Relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates).
How to Apply for RFRI Jorhat Recruitment 2022
Interested and Eligible candidates have to appear the Walk In Interview. The walk-in-interview is scheduled to be held on 22.08.2022 from 10.30 AM onwards at Rain Forest Research Institute (RFRI), Jorhat-785001, Assam.
Duly filled up application form along with testimonials will be accepted from 9.30 AM to 10.30 AM on the day of the interview.
Candidate should bring one Passport size photograph.
