1. JRF

No of Posts: 13

Scale of Pay: Rs 31000 + 16% HRA

Required Qualifications: B. Tech/Equivalent in CSE/IT/EEE/EE/ECE/ETC/IN/Mech atronics with valid GATE Score* or M. Tech/Equivalent in CSE/EEE/EE/ECE

2. JRF

No of Posts: 02

Scale of Pay: Rs 31000 + 16% HRA

Required Qualifications: B. Tech/Equivalent in Civil Engineering with valid GATE Score* or M. Tech in Civil Engineering

Please Note: B.Tech. candidates without having GATE Score, and with experience in Underwater Technologies will be considered with pay scale Rs. 22,000 – 1,000 – 32,000/- (+ HRA).

• PR – 1: Design and Analysis of RF Section for Ka-band Vacuum Electronics Devices. This project work will be carried out in the NIT Mizoram Campus. PI: Prof. Chaitali Koley
• PR – 2: Underwater Vehicle for water quality monitoring of river bodies. This project will be carried out in the NIT Silchar Campus. PI: Prof. B. K. Roy (Preferable: EE (control systems))
• PR – 3: Unmanned Exploration of underwater ecological system both in fresh and sea water. This project will be carried out in the CMRI Durgapur Campus. PI: Dr. Sambhunath Nandy (Two JRFs)
• PR – 4: Under water computer vision. This project will be carried out in the IIT Guwahati Campus. PI: Prof. Arijit Sur
• PR – 5: Smart underwater Monitoring System. This project will be carried out in the NIT Arunachal Pradesh Campus. PI: Prof. Sahadev Roy, (Two JRFs)
• PR – 6: Design and Implementation of AI powered Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) and IoT Enabled Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks. This project will be carried out in the IIT Bhubaneswar Campus. PI: Prof. Pravas Ranjan Sahu
• PR – 7: Development of hardware setup and real time implementation of cooperative motion control algorithm for autonomous underwater vehicle under communication constrain. This project will be carried out in the VSSUT Campus, Burla, Odisha. PI: Prof. Bikramaditya Das
• PR – 8: Dolphin monitoring Internet of Things (IoT) Network in River Brahmaputra. This project will be carried out in the IIT Guwahati Campus. PI: Prof. Sonali Chaouhan
• PR – 9: Smart Pond Monitoring System for Aquaculture Farming & Wetland monitoring System, Flood monitoring System. This project will be carried out in the IIT Guwahati Campus. PI: Prof. S. Dutta
• PR – 10: Design and development of a digital holographic microscopic imaging system for detection and recognition of underwater microorganisms and particles. This project will be carried out in the IIT Guwahati Campus. PI: Prof. P. Guha
• PR – 11: Smart Pond Monitoring System for Aquaculture Farming & Wetland monitoring System, Flood monitoring System. This project will be carried out in the IIT Guwahati Campus. PI: Prof. S. Dutta (only for Civil Engineering (Water Resources/Environmental Background), Sl No 2)
• PR – 12: Underwater Vehicle for water quality monitoring of river bodies. This project will be carried out in the NIT Silchar Campus. PI: Prof. B. K. Roy (only for Civil Engineering (Water Resources/ Fluid Dynamics))
• PR-13: Design and development of different life supporting, monitoring, safety, assisting and communicating devices for divers to prevent and management of diving accidents during underwater exploration IIT Guwahati.
