Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Recruitment Details
Name of the Post: Veterinary Officer/ Block Veterinary Officer, Class-B, Class-I (Jr. Grade) under Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department.
No of Posts: 162
Scale of Pay: – Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- + Rs. 12,700/- + Other allowances as admissible to the Assam State Government employees from time to time (per month).
Eligibility Criteria for Assam AH&V Department Recruitment
Educational Qualification: A Candidate must have a Degree in Bachelor of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc & A.H) from any recognized university.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2022. The upper age limit is relaxable :
- By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years
- By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years
- Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates
Other Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Voter ID/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as a proof of residency along with the application.

Applicants are required to apply online through APSC’s recruitment website. No other means/ mode of application will be accepted and the Application will be summarily rejected. Applicants who have not registered yet, in Online Recruitment Portal of APSC are first required to go to the APSC’s recruitment website https://online.apscrecruitment.in and register themselves by clicking on ‘Register Here’ link and complete the One Time Registration(OTR) process by providing basic details. To apply online follow the below mentioned steps.

- Click on the “Apply Online” and complete the registration process(if not done yet)
- In the next stage, click on Login using registered Email id/Phone Number and Password.
- Fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.
- Make the necessary payment against your category
- At the end, take a print out of the application form.
