The Assam Direct Recruitment Commission under the Government of Assam has published the recruitment notification under 1 lakh recruitment in the sate of Assam. Online applications are invited from intending eligible applicants, who are citizens of India having registration number in the employment exchange of the State of Assam for filling up 13,141 nos. of vacant Grade-III posts (tentative) under different establishments/departments under Govt. of Assam. Details of Vacancies under Assam Direct Recruitment 2022
Name of the Post: Grade-III
No of Vacancies: 13,141
- Category I (Accountant/ Cashier/ Jr. Asstt./LDA/Stenographer etc. Detailed list shall be available alongwith the application form) (8331 Vacancies)
- Category II (Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, Section Asstt. Soil Conservation Field Worker Jr., Agriculture Extension Assistant etc. Detailed list shall be available along with the application form) (3690 Vacancies)
- Category III (Driver) (1120 Vacancies)
Scale of Pay: Pay Band -2/3 and applicable Grade Pay along-with other allowances as admissible
Minimum Educational Qualification
- For Category I
- Bachelor’s degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6 (six) months duration from a recognized Institute.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- For Category II
- HSSLC or equivalent (for post like Laboratory Assistant, Section Assistant and Photography Assistant, candidates with HSSLC or equivalent with Science stream only can apply)
- For Category III
- HSLC or equivalent
Age: The applicant shall not be less than 18 years or more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2022. The upper age limit is relaxable only as stipulated below:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
- 2 years for Ex-Servicemen.
- 10 years for Persons with Disabilities candidates.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the School/Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognised Board/ Council/ schools/ or other Government document, as applicable and notified.
How to Apply Assam Direct Recruitment For Grade III Posts
The eligible candidates of Assam Govt Direct Recruitment for Class-III Posts are required to apply in prescribed form through www.assam.gov.in or www.sebaonline.org only. Instructions for filling up prescribed application form will be available in the official website www.sebaonline.org. Applications shall be received only in online mode from the midnight of 11th April, 2022 to the midnight of 30th May, 2022. Interested candidates have to upload the following documents for Assam Direct Recruitment for Class III posts.
- Recent Passport Size Photograph.
- Scanned signature of the Candidate.

Application Fee for Assam Direct Recruitment For Class III Posts
The candidates have to submit Application Fee online only as follows:
- Rs. 350/- for UR and OBC/MOBC candidates
- Rs. 250/- for SC, ST(P) and ST(H) candidates
The fee shall be deposited by way of online payment through Payment Gateways link provided in the portal. Non submission of applicable amount of fee in the authorized online mode will lead to rejection of Application.
Selection Procedure For Assam Grade III Posts
- The Selection Criteria and the mode of examination for the different categories of posts shall be communicated in due course of time.
- The shortlisted candidates will have to bring all the original testimonials i.e. Age proof Certificate, Caste Certificate (in case of reserved category candidates), Educational Qualification Certificates, Computer Proficiency Certificate (as applicable), Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Section, Disability Certificate (in case of PwD candidates) and Declaration in Form-“A” under Rule 5(I) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019 as available in the website for verification at the time to be notified later on
