The Assam Direct Recruitment Commission under the Government of Assam has published the recruitment notification under 1 lakh recruitment in the sate of Assam. Online applications are invited from intending eligible applicants, who are citizens of India having registration number in the employment exchange of the state of Assam, for filling up 13,300 tentative vacant posts of Class-IV under different departments/ establishments in Government of Assam. Details of Vacancies under Assam Direct Recruitment 2022
Name of the Post: Class-IV
No of Vacancies: 13,300
Scale of Pay: Pay Bands and Grade Pay as per ROP, 2017 along-with other allowances as admissible
Educational Qualification
- Read up to Class-VIII (9,000 Posts)
- HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed (4,300 Posts)
Please Note: The Maximum qualification should be HSSLC (Class-12) or HSSLC (Class-12) or equivalent examination Passed and those who have educational qualification higher than this maximum eligibility educational qualification on the date of application shall not be eligible to apply for any of the posts or category of posts.
Age: The applicant shall not be less than 18 years or more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2022. The upper age limit is relaxable only as stipulated below:
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
- 2 years for Ex-Servicemen.
- 10 years for Persons with Disabilities candidates.
The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the School/Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/ Certificate issued by a recognised Board/ Council/ schools/ or other Government document, as applicable and notified.
How to Apply Assam Direct Recruitment For Grade IV Posts
The eligible candidates of State Level Recruitment Commission for Class-IV Posts are required to apply in prescribed form through www.assam.gov.in or www.sebaonline.org only. Instructions for filling up prescribed application form will be available in the official website www.sebaonline.org. Applications shall be received only in online mode from the midnight of 11th April, 2022 to the midnight of 30th May, 2022. Interested candidates have to upload the following documents for Assam Direct Recruitment for Class IV posts.
- Recent Passport Size Photograph.
- Scanned signature of the Candidate.

Application Fee for Assam Direct Recruitment For Class IV Posts
The candidates have to submit Application Fee online only as follows:
- Rs. 200/- for UR and OBC/MOBC candidates
- Rs. 150/- for SC, ST(P) and ST(H) candidates
The fee shall be deposited by way of online payment through Payment Gateways link provided in the portal. Non submission of applicable amount of fee in the authorized online mode will lead to rejection of Application.
Selection Procedure For Assam Grade IV Posts
- There shall be two parts of selection process- Written test and Interview.
- The scheme of examination shall be strictly as per the “Assam Direct Recruitment for Class-IV Analogous Posts Rules, 2022”, as amended from time to time. Further, this scheme will be published at least one week before the conduct of written test.
- The selected candidate will have to bring all the original testimonials i.e. Certificate of proof of age, Caste Certificate (in case of reserved category candidates), Educational Qualification Certificates, Economically Weaker Section Certificate, Disability Certificate (in case of PWBD candidates) and Declaration in Form- “A” under Rule 5(l) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment) Rules, 2019 for verification at the time to be notified later on, amongst others. An undertaking with regards to fulfilment of all eligibility criteria has to be uploaded in the portal. The Discharge certificate will be required in case of Ex-serviceman.
