Directorate of Health Services Assam invites online applications from intending eligible Indian citizens as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of the following Grade – III posts (Technical & Non-Technical) and Grade-IV (Peon) posts (Non-Technical) in respect of existing vacancies in different health institutions in the State under the establishment of Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam, Hengrabari, Guwahati-36, as shown below.

Post Details of Directorate of Health Services Assam Recruitment
1. ANM (Auxiliary Nurse of Midwives)
No of posts: 166 ( UR: 60 OBC/ MOBC: 45 SC: 12 STP: 17 STH: 8 EWS: 17 PWD: 7)
Scale of Pay: Rs 14,000 to 60,500, GP: Rs 6,200
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be an ANM Training passed from Assam Govt Institution or Institution recognised by India Nursing Council and Assam Nursing Council and Registered under Assam Nursing Council.
2. LDA (Computer Assistant)/ Steno Typist
No of posts: 16 (UR: 8 OBC/ MOBC: 4 SC: 1 STP: 1 STH: 1 EWS: 1 PWD: NIL)
Scale of Pay: Rs 14,000 to 60,500, GP: Rs 6,200/-
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a Graduate in Arts, Commerce or Science from Government recognized university or equivalent and applicant must possess minimum 1 year Diploma course in Computer Application.
3. Grade IV (Peon)
No of posts: 25 (UR: 8 OBC/ MOBC: 7 SC: 2 STP: 3 STH: 1 EWS: 3 PWD: 1)
Scale of Pay: Rs 12,000 to 52,000, GP: Rs 3,900/-
Educational Qualification: Candidate must be a Class VIII pass from a govt. recognised school.
Age: Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not above 40 years of age as on 01.01.2021. The upper age limit in relaxable for 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC, ST (P), ST (H) Candidates only.

Selection Process for DHSFW Recruitment for Grade III and Grade IV Posts
- Selection process shall be notified in the official website of the Directorate of Health Services (Family Welfare), Assam (www.dhsfw.assam.gov.in) in due course of time.
