NE Postal Circle Recruitment 2021

India Post has released an notification for the recruitment of 23 Nos. of vacant posts. The applications are invited from India Post for the posts of Postal Assistant, Postman & MTS Vacancy against Sports Quota under North East Postal Circle. The detail recruitment notification is as given below.

Post Details of NE Postal Circle Recruitment

1. Postal Assistant

No. of Posts: 8

Educational Qualification:

Must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
The candidates will be required to furnished Basic Computer Training Certificate from a recognized computer training institute before issuance of appointment letter.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years as of 01.01.2021 (candidates born not before 02.01.1994 and not later than 01.01.2003) Upper age relaxation by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

2. Postman

No. of posts: 4

Educational Qualification:

12th standard pass from a recognized Board,

Knowledge of Local Language: The candidate should have studied the local language applicable for the posts of the concerned states as mentioned below at least up to the 10th standard:

Dharmanagar Division: Bengali
Manipur Division: Manipuri
Meghalaya Division: English/ Hindi
The candidates will be required to furnished Basic Computer Training Certificate from a recognized computer training institute before issuance of appointment letter.
The person appointed to the post of Postman shall acquire a driving license to drive a two-wheeler or three-wheeler or light motor vehicle within a period of two years from the date of his appointment.

Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years as of 01.01.2021 (candidates born not before 02.01.1994 and not later than 01.01.2003) Upper age relaxation by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

3. Multitasking Staff (MTS)

No of posts: 11

Educational Qualification:

10th standard pass from a recognized Board.

Knowledge of Local Language: The candidate should have studied the local language applicable for the posts of the concerned states as mentioned below at least up to the 10th standard.

Agartala Division: Bengali
Arunachal Pradesh Division: Hindi/ English
Dharmanagar Division: Bengali
Manipur Division: Manipuri
Meghalaya Division: Hindi/ English
Mizoram Division: Mizo

Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 years as of 01.01.2021 (candidates born not before 02.01.1996 and not later than 01.01.2003) Upper age relaxation by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.
